I keep forgetting to post this 👉👈
Another illustration of Wauker Martikov, my winged Sentinel Seraph and wereraven oc from our Daggerheart Curse Of Strahd campaign. She is romancing Ireena Kolyana...! ✨️
I played my first Daggerheart game a while ago, and only got around to posting the character art I drew just now!
Helio Elektor is a Seraph of Saranrae, equal parts brilliant and doomed. The game I played him in took place around 20 ~ years before a mini-DND campaign I'm in... which also happens to be around the same number of years Helio has been dead for.
He even got a prophecy of foretelling his untimely demise and everything! A chilling reminder to beware that which moves without life, and the false light of the moon.
Womp womp.
Bonus art of his Winged Sentinel form under the cut!
a short break from artfight with sketches of my own ocs!
seraph wings wauker with her holy axe and... not ragn. meet rüs, one of wauker's past lives who apparently had a steed made of goop.
ok so i kinda went with a different look for the wings after I drew this but i am hacking away at a wip regardless so!! 🤪

Daggerheart Character Concept: Xaver
I'm surprised by how many seraphs I've made, since I don't really care for the concept of gods.
But they do make for unfortunately interesting stories, and in this case, they can be kept at arms' length.
And, all told, of all the characters I've made for Daggerheart, Xaver might well be my favorite.
He's a reborne clank/infernis winged seraph. His heritage is a very specific result of what happened to him. His mixed ancestry comes from being in two physical parts: the corpse of an infernis super-soldier who died on a forgotten battlefield, and a machine made by the god of chaos, grafted onto said corpse by god magic.
Xaver was created in this way to be a mouthpiece of said god of chaos on the mortal plane. Because this god, like all gods, exists in either the Hallows or the Circles (which one is up to a given GM), Xaver's job is very remote. It mostly consists of going to places with unusually high levels of order (like, say, imperial bastions and fascist states) and essentially giving the fantasy equivalent of "Don't you just wanna go apeshit?" One of his Experiences is, in fact, Don't You Just Wanna Go Apeshit? to this precise purpose.
He does this in concert with a similar emissary of the god of order, who goes to places with unusually high levels of chaos and essentially gives the fantasy equivalent of "Calm the Fuck Down." The idea is, the two of them work together for their respective gods to maintain the critical middle ground between slavery and anarchy.
He, like Mjalik, is one of those characters that's meant to be found by the rest of the party. He sleeps in a coffin until he's Needed.

Character influences include Adrian "Alucard" Tepes, Midra from Elden Ring, the Destroyer from Thor, and, perhaps obviously, the Mouth of Sauron.
Daggerheart Character Concept: Yggo
Yggo was born when I read the Daggerheart death moves for the first time and saw that Blaze of Glory was an actual mechanical option.
Appearance-wise, that one LEGO minifigure, the golden dragonborn with the mace, looked really cool. So, here we have a golden drakona with a mace.
More specifically, he's a hearthborne drakona winged sentinel seraph. Regular drakona don't have wings, but seraphs of the god of dragonkind can use the Winged Defender subclass feature to do this:
a la Bayle the Dread.
(Elden Ring's DLC may or may not have left an impression.)
Yggo's one of those gruff jackasses with a heart of gold. He's also a candidate to ascend and become the new god of dragons (replacing the white one depicted on his shield). He has to pass trials in order to ascend, most of which are up to GM discretion, but the ultimate one — in both senses of the word — is an honorable death. Your soul can't ascend if it's still in its mushy lizard body.
Usually, when I make brawlers, seraphs, or anything else with the Valor domain, I give them Bare Bones. Yggo, however, has a tower shield and chainmail armor, putting his Armor Score at a hefty 6, so Bare Bones felt like a step back from that. (And all I have to deal with in return is a pathetic Evasion of 7.)

Character influences include Trevor Belmont and Floyd "Deadshot" Lawton.
