Poppy - world's BIGGEST hater. She's grown up hearing the cogs are enemy #1 and cannot be trusted under ANY circumstances. She still seems them all as flat evil and her world is flipped upside-down when she comes across ones with more individuality and maybe even some morality.

She dislikes or hates everyone, but she is confused about Mary, Misty, Big Slugger, and Belle. Misty, for one, is dating Daffibear (my other toon oc) who Poppy has always looked up to, and it's throwing her for a loop. They also seem nicer than other cogs and actually don't even seem to get along with many suits. Mary seems to care about the environment and the pollution affecting it, which also confuses Poppy; she thought cogs were all for pollution? Big is extremely nice, a gentle giant if you will, and probably tries to be kind to Poppy despite her stubbornness. Belle is a similar case where she's always being kind, offering cookies, and encouraging toons' hobbies. Poppy is confused by both of them but also slightly hates them because she believes they're being deceptive and that the kindness is simply a front.

The cogs she hates, Dave, Graham, Patty, and Spruce, are all pretty loud and she really hates loud noises and finds them overwhelming. Patty is also someone who really clashes with Poppy, being someone that believes he's doing the right thing and wants justice. Poppy also believes she's doing the right thing and wants justice, but they have entirely different ideas of this. Poppy can't fathom how Patty is for justice, yet she's a cog who actively opposes the toons, while Patty can't fathom how Poppy is for justice, yet she's always destroying and battling his fellow coworkers.

Little Fangs - Little Fangs is mostly scared of cogs but is also drawn to things they're afraid of. They find fears fascinating and want to learn more about the cogs. They mostly hide this interest from Poppy, since she's hellbent on the destruction of cogs.

Little Fangs admires Dave, Belle, Patty and Mary. They all seem to be doing "the right thing" in some sense; Dave doesn't fight toons with any bad blood, simply wants to groove with them. Fangs really admires how he doesn't take his "role" super seriously and almost rebels against it by being more fun and outgoing than a suit is expected to be (Fangs, at least, interprets it as rebellion being rebellious themselves). They look up to Belle because she encourages their hobbies and is incredibly kind and generous. Mary seems to actually have morals and stands for the environment, which is unexpected for a suit, but still something Fangs finds fascinating. They like Patty and admire his determination for justice and detecting lies, probably likes her in a similar sense they like Mary.

They like Cathal and DC; both seem relatively laidback compared to other cogs. Cathal specifically does not give a shit about the war and doesn't try to be much of a threat, so Fangs feels safer and wants to watch TV with him. DC generally doesn't take things super seriously and probably finds Fangs cute and endearing

Little Fangs also has a familial bond with Misty, seeing that she's dating Daffibear, who's like an uncle figure to Poppy and Fangs. Despite Poppy's stubbornness, Fangs finds Misty very kind and likes playing hopscotch and drawing with her (behind Poppy's back lol)

Daffibear - He doesn't beef with most cogs, being a chill and laidback guy who doesn't care to fight them; he treats them and toons equally. He's friends with Buck, DC, and Spruce, seeing them all as fun to be around. He enjoys gambling with Buck and joking with Spruce, doesn't really take into account the damage that Spruce could be inflicting on the environment. He has a lot in common with DC, both not really taking things seriously and struggling with vulnerability. He also likes Cathal, Belle, and Big; Belle and Big are both very sweet and enjoyable to talk to while Cathal just seems like a chill, laidback guy that Daffibear wants to be friends with lol

Patty doesn't like Daffibear due to his lack of professionality and thinking he's way too relaxed given the situation they're in.

Daffibear is also dating Misty. I'm still working out how they met and got to know each other, but Daffibear was immediately drawn to Misty and just wants her to be happy. Misty is drawn to Daffibear due to him being a toon that is more welcoming and willing to get to know her and play games with her. Daffibear's all about pranks and jokes, which Misty might sometimes take personally and he has to learn that they aren't always appropriate. He's also not great with vulnerability and can struggle to help Misty through their baggage, wanting to make light of the situation because that's how he copes with things. Daffibear learns to be more vulnerable and better at just listening and letting Misty be upset sometimes, because sometimes you need to feel before you can properly heal. With Daffibear's help, Misty probably becomes a little more open to toons and begins to fear rejection less, finally finding a circle of people who are accepting and kind and want to play games just like she always has :]

Stinky - Stinky is a toon of chaos who loves blowing up cogs and naturally doesn't get along with many cogs as a result. They don't do it out of hatred for them though, just for the sake of chaos. He HATES Graham, which honestly drives from his sona days when he was a representation of myself (I hate Graham in an endearing way lol, but Stinky genuinely despises him). They lurk outside the Pace Place often and have been awaiting the day they finally get their hands on the task to defeat him (WE FINALLY DID IT YEAAAA)

She has a bit of a crush on Holly, which is also an element that stayed from her sona days. This won't go anywhere of course, and Holly finds Stinky absolutely repulsive, but they admire her regardless (he'll grow out of it one day)

Stinky likes Belle, Cathal, Dave, Spruce, and Misty. I think you can guess pretty much everyone likes Belle at this point lol, she's just a hard person to hate! Stinky likes Cathal because they're really laidback and don't really care to interrupt their shenanigans. Most people try to avoid Stinky or discipline her, but Cathal does fuckall to stop her from blowing shit up and wreaking havoc. They enjoy Dave and Spruce, just finding the two of them fun to be around (especially Spruce due to all the destruction he leaves behind), and they like Misty because they're fascinated by her weather powers and constantly want her to start up big storms. Unfortunately, it's one-sided, because Misty hates Stinky lol. Hates their constant chaos, attitude, and lack of manners. Stinky likes messing with her and is always trying to rope her into battles, and Misty takes personal offense to it. Wants nothing to do with this rabid child

Stinky's favorite person in the world is BEN!!! And the reason is because of his battles and how the cogs blow up! Stinky loves fighting Ben and watching all the explosions, but Ben's not very fond of Stinky mainly due to their FOUL body odor and lack of hygiene.

Stinky dislikes DC, Big, and Flint. DC and Stinky both try to be intimidating in their own right while being doofuses in reality and also hating vulnerability. However, Stinky doesn't seem like a threat to DC at all. She's just some kid. Probably thinks she's adorable, and it drives Stinky CRAZY! He also dislikes Big, who tries to get him to behave and play with things less destructive than bombs and dynamite. Stinky is very rebellious against this. As for Flint, it seems like Stinky would like him considering the arson, but due to an inside joke of mine, Flint literally doesn't register Stinky's existence. It's impossible for him to see them whatsoever. This drives Stinky insane considering they like attention

Rover - Rover is generally indifferent to this whole war, very similarly to Cathal. This is why the two of them get along so well, but they also bring out the worst in each other and enable their respective "none of this matters" mindset. This is also why Patty dislikes it, because she's worked so hard to improve Cathal's motivation and drive to work, only for Rover to come in and bring him back to square one. It's also friends with Spruce for a similar reason; both of them are dumb as nails and don't think at all about how their indifference affects those around them. Spruce doesn't care or think about what his deforestation does to the environment, just knows it's something he's good at and he enjoys doing it! Rover doesn't care to pay the invasion any meaningful attention, doesn't really do tasks, and doesn't bother to think about the bigger impact. They both get along due to their similar "bahh, who cares?" philosophy. Basically, Rover befriends people who bring out the worst in it lol

Rover likes Flint, DC, Big and Tawney. It really likes the heat and finds Flint's warmth quite comforting (on the other hand, it dislikes Cosmo bc it dislikes the cold). It finds DC chill and laidback, it finds Big to be a sweetheart, and Tawney really helps it fall asleep which it desperately needs being a chronic insomniac.

It has a fatass crush on Dave due to his charisma and how nonchalant he is about this whole war. He treats cogs and toons equally, he doesn't hold any hostility, he's just a groovy guy who wants to dance. Rover is drawn to someone else who also doesn't care about their responsibilities or what their "side" stands for. He doesn't "stand for" anything, just wants to groove, and Rover finds that very admirable. Unfortunately, this is extremely one-sided and Dave sees Rover as any other toon who wanders into his theater. If you can dance, he vibes with you! But not like that, babe, he's a one-man band. This leaves Rover constantly pining for Dave in a comedic fashion but never getting those feelings back.

It hates Ben and has almost a "rivalry" with Brian. Rover's a petty individual who holds onto things for a really long time and Ben is one who gossips. I like to imagine Ben made a passing comment about it that it'll hold onto until the day it climbs the holy steps. Rover's also really dumb, and when put next to someone like Brian, obviously they're going to clash. Brian wants to "fix" Rover and teach it the values of intellect, but Rover can't even be assed to eat 3 meals a day so that's unlikely.

Holly also hates Rover due to its laziness and lack of class, really disliking its laidback nature

Aunt Yappy - just my toonsona so its how i feel about the managers lol
