he also feels little remorse or gulit/sympathy for her actions most of the time, even if it hurted someone she loved she would fake her empathu and immeditately go apologize to that person all because she fears being alone. She WANTS to bring herself to actually feel gulity for this. She really wants to. But she can't so the least she can do is just fake it all until she actually feels it for once

The reason why she's so snappy is because whenever she sobbed if one of her dad was stressed, he would yell at her and tell her to shut up. This made Chrysalis think crying was simply just a annoyance and push herself away from others even if she was in a bad state and needed help, if she really had to let her anger our she would do it to her siblings and emotionally abuse them (just like Aster! Wow❤) then spoil them with gifts because (< guys is ok she feel gulity at this😵)

Chrysalis is mostly unfazed of the time because of Kerberos. When Chrysalis moved away with Kerberos after the divcore, Kerberos would not have any supervision and let Chrysalis free to see really disturbing things

When Lilith came in her life, Chrysalis thought she would be in a another situationship with her before eventually letting her guard down with her and felt a sense of comfort with Lilith. (in their relationship both promised to get better for eachother before going rock bottom then up to a healthy relationship then rock bottom again. Damn y'all pls get therapy😭)

my astrobot ocs (ft. @lethargicmonsoon's idet). apollo’s a rather simple-minded space cadet who wishes something exciting would happen in their life. they probably worked as an assistant for some high tiered astrobot as a cup holder or floor mopper. laika is a generation 1 rocketeer, tasked to terraform planets with her squadron, until a cave-in on a moon left her buried underneath rocks for years. the SOS signals she sent to astrobot HQ was never replied to, which she initially assumed as her signal not reaching them… only for her to later find out that the HQ did receive it, they simply ignored her. her nation's betrayal left her a deeply distrustful, vengeful, and violent cog, not hesitating to blow up anything that stands in her path of revenge. and there's curio, a cheerful and vain moonlighter who works as a senior researcher at an observatory. despite their arrogance, they’re incredibly loyal towards their friends. he’s currently trying to find a way to restore the memories of his partner, a wayfinder named campanella. he has the cogs' equivalent to postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, hence the cane.

these three are part of a renegade group of cogs that are against cogs inc's plan on conquering the cosmos (despite their varying reasons). they're also rowan's friends in the evh universe, starting from curio who took interest in the cold caller (tier 1 yet has resistance against toon gags? interesting!). I conceptualized them in late march. older art of them under the cut.
