Meetings were not something new to G. He went to them all the time, talked with possible allies and enemies that hid behind the mask of friendly proposals and met with people who requested deaths or people to be found, deals to be brought up to light and things to be buried.

Going to meetings was fine. Going to meetings with Daemon was not fine. It was far from it. So painfully far from it.

G tapped the heel of his foot against the fine wood used on the floor and threw a glare at the illusionist sitting next to him. The damn Melon head was making things worse with stupid comments and unneeded opinions about the matter at hand or the people they were meeting. Once this disaster of a meeting will be over, G will have a word with his boss.

But now he had a possible fuck-up to stop and an idiotic Mist to shut up.
