These headcanons are in a way a continuation of my previous list, but I suppose people can apply them to any Roman. I did mention my AU Roman. My goal was to keep them positive and optimistic, a "what if" Roman became a successful Father and family man. Some are pretty grandiose. Headcanons might be expanded or added to the list later. Here is part one enjoy! 😊

Today was one of those long, dreary days that never seemed to end. Your head throbbed from the storm clouds gathering across the sky and no activity appeased you for long enough to forget about the night's dreaded event: Olivia's birthday dinner.

Roman had introduced you to his mother several times, but the woman had only graced you with a half-earned smile during the last encounter. Olivia's disdain for you translated to disdain for her, and when Roman asked you to the dinner and offered to pay for a nice outfit, you couldn't help but wonder if the generosity stemmed from a conversation held in secret: possibly Olivia's remarks about your second-hand clothes, to which you asserted were vintage and not dug out of a dead relative's trunk. You forgot to say thank you and tossed the outfit in your closet only to be acknowledged on the day of its purpose.

• Roman's children are discriminated against because they are Black Mask's children. Any Rogue's child is going to be discriminated against. They are bullied throughout Elementary, Middle/Junior High, and High School. Peers make fun of their Father calling him a sick freak, scumbag, murderer, drug dealer, nut case, sadistic monster, washed-up loser, skull face, etc. School administrations and teachers only do the bare minimum to prevent their bullying. On a rare occasion a caring teacher will stand up against it. Roman teaches his teenager Son, who began coming home with injuries, boxing. He needs to know how to protect himself they will deal with any future consequences together. Roman is proud to hear his Son fights back. His daughter is more psychologically and emotionally bullied by other girls than physically bullied. They love to leave nasty remarks and drawings of Roman in her locker. Roman saves them all in a box he finds them amusing. Her Brother, in my AU younger Brother, often confronts her bullies threatening them with violence. Fighting off the urge to break the law Roman starts writing stern letters straight to the bullies families and school administration warning them law enforcement will get involved if his Son and Daughter's harassment continues. Bullying dies down after the GCPD pays a visit to Hamilton Hill High School. Many accuse Roman for bribing the GCPD even though he did not.

• God help anyone (Rogue, rival, old enemy, etc) who is arrogant or dumb enough to lay a finger on Roman's children, he will go scorched earth. If the worst side of him comes out it will be a bloody rampage.

When Roman has to leave for work, he leaves your Dino chicken nuggets in the microwave oven with a little note attached saying what temperature to put them at and how long.

He also leaves your pre-made strawberry lemonade in your pretty sparkly cup cooling the refrigerator so you don’t have to make a mess or hurt yourself trying to climb onto the counter.

He makes sure to have the living room television on to your favorite kids channel where there are reruns of Spongebob and The Loud House.

But during the times where he stays home and allows his personal assistant to take over, he’ll take some breaks from being holed up in his private office to be with you.

It’s usual tea parties, coloring, playing hide and seek, creating stories with your stuffies, playing dress-up, or going out to the backyard to watch the clouds or pick flowers.

And Roman always makes sure to take some sneaky pictures of you and set them in his albums dedicated to just you. And there’s over 1,000 pictures in there.

During night time, after you’re freshly washed and full of warm milk, Roman cuddles you in his giant California sized bed. And he has a set of books in his hands and allows you to pick which one you want him to read for the night.
