AI Krupp is mine
I quite enjoy all the multiverse AU crossover art from the fandom and wanted to draw one myself. You may be wondering, what's with that bracelet thing? I've been playing with the idea that in the AI AU, Captain Underpants has some electrical powers, so does Krupp to a lesser extent. But unlike Captain, since he wasn't programmed with powers in mind but is still constantly generating electricity, he has to wear the wristband to manage it. Probably learned this the hard way by accidentally shocking Melvin, which prompted Melvin to make the device.
But AI Krupp also sometimes blacks out and wakes up without the wristband (thanks, Captain.AI), so he starts becoming more uncomfortable with the idea of touch and having a family. A bit of a frankenstein-esque "i'm a monster" fear.
So anyway, if he were to ever meet an alternate version of himself with a wife and kid, he'd be really conflicted. On some level, he kind of wants all that for himself. Dad Krupp, though tired, seems fulfilled. He loves, he is loved, his Edith exists, he is...happy? Benjamin.AI never would've believed it possible, so at the very least it would break that pre-conceived notion about who he's meant to be. But then Benjamin.AI might also be grappling with the fear that even if he did find his Edith, his artificial self is too dysfunctional to make it work.
