“Morning darlin,” The sound of his thick southern accent filled the kitchen as Y/N was serving some biscuits and gravy just the way jack liked it on a Friday sunny morning.

“Hey cowboy how did you sleep?” Y/N asked walked over to the table setting down their plates and leaning over to kiss jack softly. 

“With you by my side I always sleep good baby girl, plus I could feel kicks every now and then from our little cowgirl.” He smiled and placed his hands down her lower belly feeling around, Y/N giggled while placing her hands on top of his. 

“Your really sure it’s going to be a girl don’t you.” She reached up spreading her fingers through his hair softly.  

“Darlin, I'm totally positive it’s going to be a girl.” Jack lean in kissing her belly before he started eating his breakfast. 

“Here love don’t forget your hat.” Y/N waddled quickly towards jack placing his cowboy hat on his head wrapping her arms around his neck kissing his lips softly. 

“darlin, I swear if you weren’t so fertile I would take you right here right now.” He smirked and kissed her neck, Y/N felt his arms wrapping her rubbing down her back just the way she liked it. 

“Alright cowboy you better go before your late.” She giggled and kissed his lips letting him go, she watched him leave closing the door. It felt like a million years when jack would leave for work but Y/N would always try to find ways to get herself busy and with being pregnant it was pretty easy. 

She went to go buy groceries at the store and getting stuff for the baby, as she was checking out she got a phone call hoping it was jack only for it to be her doctors office reminding her of her check up tomorrow. She got home stocking up the kitchen with the things she bought meanwhile hearing the door open. 

“Darlin, I’m home.” Jack took off his hat and boots. 

“Hey we missed you, jack I have to tell you something.” Y/N walked over to him holding his hands while feeling nervous and the baby moved around feeling like butterflies in her womb.

“Yes darlin, I'm listening.” He winked. 

“Well my doctor called and I have an appointment tomorrow at 1, I was wondering if you could come with me this time.” Y/n bite her bottom lip. 

“Darlin, I have a very important mission tomorrow but I'll try and make it.” Jack reached down rubbing her belly not knowing that Y/N’s heart shattered. 

“Oh it’s okay it’s just another appointment.” She faked a smile.

The next morning she woke up and jack wasn’t in bed with her which meant he already went to work. She sighed and sat up getting up to take a shower getting ready for her appointment. she got a text from Jack asking for the address which made her smile softly and she send the address to her doctor’s office. 

Y/N soon got there and signed in taking a seat waiting for jack to come, she meanwhile looked around and saw all the other couples holding each other and rubbing their wives bellies while Y/N was by herself. Her phone buzzed and she got a text from jack. 

“Sorry darlin, I can’t come I'm really busy on this mission.” 

“It’s alright I’ll see you at home.” Y/N managed to text back putting her phone down covering her tears that were glistening in the light. 

“Y/N L/N” The nurse spoke in a sweet tone, Y/N wiped her eyes and walked towards the nurse giving her a smile. The nurse took her to the room and waited for the doctor to do the ultrasound. 

“And it’s a healthy baby girl congrats Mrs. L/N.” The doctor smiled and continued moving the wand before wiping the gel off. 

“Thank you.” Y/N smiled while feeling tears in her eyes again. 

Y/N went home finally letting the tears fall and taking a nap on the couch, Later she felt someone touch her shoulder and kiss her cheek. Y/N flinched and sat up looking at jack, She didn’t know how to react as she got tried of the bullshit. Y/N slapped him right across his face. 

“How dare you stood me up.” Y/N let the tears fall as she sob. 

“Baby we have been through this I can’t just skip a mission.” Jack looked at her with sad eyes. 

“Really? So what are you trying to say? That your married to you’re job? Ever since I told you we are expecting you haven’t been there for me you just always go to work. You miss all my appointments so far and I have been the one working on the crib and buying all the stuff for the baby. If you can't handle this jack just tell me and I’ll go.” Y/N sobbed and wiped her eyes while reaching for her purse grabbing the ultrasounds. “It’s a girl.” She placed them against his chest going upstairs laying down on the bed. 

Later in the morning she walked downstairs to hear music playing and the smell of freshly cooked breakfast. She looked at the table to see a beautiful rose boutique. 

“Darlin, please let me explain. I thought about everything you said and your totally right I haven’t been giving you my all and I should be especially since your carrying a life inside you..My life..” He reached down kissing her belly and rubbing it softly. Y/N smiled and stroke his hair as he got down to his knees

“But anyway I’m so so sorry darlin, and I promise that I won’t miss a single appointment and I will always be there even when you go shopping for the baby. I already called the boss to give me more excused leaves which means I could leave whenever I want. After we eat I'm going to fix that crib and paint the walls the way you want it.” He smiled softly 

“I was just scared Jack I really was scared that you didn’t want this. Me or the baby and I was scared to be a single mom.” Y/N felt tears before feeling his thumbs wiped her cheeks softly. 

“Don’t cry please I hated to see you cry.” He cupped her cheeks and kissed her forehead softly.

“I’m sorry, I'm just happy that you didn’t give up on us and your right about the baby being a girl.” Y/N giggled and rubbed her belly softly. 

“Damn right she’s going to be the most baddest cowgirl anyone has ever seen.” He smirked and laughed.

“oh fuck.” Y/N panted softly and moaned as she reached her climax carefully getting off of Javier, Sweat dripping and covering her body. Javier reached down cleaning him off and leaned down to clean his wife with a warm clothe. 

“Te lastime mi amor?” Javier looked up at Y/N kissing her neck softly.

“No mi amor, it was amazing.” Y/N smiled softly.

“Si, mi amor y no puedo creer que tengamos que hacerlo sin que el bebe se despierte.” He laughed and smiled.

“I know, she is always waking up at night with her cries..” Y/N smiled reaching out stroking his hair back wiping off the sweat on his forehead. 

“I love you so much Y/N” 

“I love yo-..” Y/N stopped and turn to look at the baby monitor seeing the dots light up hearing the baby whimpering beginning to cry. Y/N sighed softly looking at Javier. 

“Well now look who decided to wake up.” Y/N covered her face with her hands. 

“Cheer up mi amor I'll get her.” Javier smiled and kissed her forehead, He walked to the nursery and the baby rolled on her belly along with some sniffles from her cries. 

“Princesa no llores..” He reached down to pick her up holding her small but chubby body on his firm chest. The baby buried her face on his chest rubbing her eyes before laying her head on his chest. Javier walked her back to their room and looked over at Y/N. 

“oh is she hungry?” Y/N immediately sat up as her mother instincts kicked in. 

“No mi amor she is fine she just wants to be with her daddy and mommy.” Javier walked over laying down on the bed with the baby on his chest. Y/N smiled reaching out petting her patch of hair kissing her cheek. 

“Ve a dormir mi princesa.” Y/N cooed at her daughter and continued petting her hair as the baby began to close her eyes. Javier smiled placing a kiss on the top of her head. 

“Baby I'm sorry I didn’t tell you this earlier but I got a call earlier and I have to go back to the city and stay the night, I want you to come but it’s dangerous for you and the baby down there.” Javier gave her a sad look. 

“It’s okay Javi you don’t have to apologize this is your job and before we got married you gave me all the red flags, but those didn’t stop my love for you. It’s alright me and butter ball over there can handle a night without daddy.” Y/N smiled leaning in for another kiss, Javier kissed back smiling brightly.

“I swear how did I get so lucky and marry you..” Javier smiled. 

The next morning Javier was finishing packing his bag in the living room while holding the baby on his hip. Y/N was in the kitchen wrapping up his favorite breakfast sandwich walking over to the living room handing it to him. 

“Okay I know what I said last night but now I'm kinda disappointed your leaving.” Y/N laughed softly kissing his cheeks. 

“I know mi amor this really sucks, but I'll see you tomorrow hopefully I come back in the afternoon.” Javier smiled and looked at the baby kissing her cheeks handing her over to Y/N. 

“Bye Javier and be careful.” Y/N walked over to open the door for him. 

“Bye my love and my beautiful little princess.” He cooed kissing the babies cheeks again before placing a soft kiss on Y/N lips. 

“Say bye daddy” Y/N grabbed her daughter’s small hand waving it to Javier as he walked to his car, Javier turned and smiled blowing a kiss to them.

“Pedro?” Y/N called from the front door of their home, taking off her heels heading upstairs barefoot. She reached their bedroom walking inside not seeing Pedro. She put her heels in the closet and her purse on the bed before walking to the other room in the house. 

“Honey? Are you home?” She called again before opening her daughter’s nursery finding Pedro seated down on the rocking chair with the small still newborn in his arms, It has been six weeks since they brought her home. Y/N manage to smiled watching them both, she walked over to them and placed a soft kiss on pedro’s lips. 

“Hey, Y/N. Sorry I didn’t answer I swear she’s so beautiful I can’t stop looking at her.” He spoke in a soft tone. 

“I know, her little chubby hand has already wrap around your finger.” Y/N giggled

They both watched the little infant squirm and starting to whimper from her sleep. She opened her little eyes looking up at her father. 

“It’s alright sweetheart, you just had a bad dream. Your daddy’s here to protect you.” He lean down pressing a soft kiss on his daughter’s forehead. The baby looked up at Pedro and gave him a smile. 

“That’s a sweet girl. how about a story? what you do you say princess.” He smiled back down at her as the baby cooed softly. 

“Alright well tonight the story will be about me and your mommy, and when your older I promise I’ll tell you again so you can understand.” Pedro smiled before looking over at his wife kissing her lips. 

“It’s quite a story.” Pedro spoke.

FLASHBACK

Pedro was a licensed Doctor at a small community clinic and he happened to met Y/N one day at the job until she became his permanent doctor. They don’t really see each other only for checks up and every-time they would see each other. Their was always a small spark between them. 

“So Miss.L/N according to your results today you have lost three pounds since the next time I saw you. Now my question is are you trying to lose weight? Because if you are their is absolutely no need your in perfect shape.” He started checking her heartbeat. 

“Really? I’m sorry I’m not trying to lose weight it’s just I haven’t been eating a whole lot I get nauseous.” Y/N looked at him.

“Pregnant?” He looked up with a concerned look

“Oh no doctor. Never had sex.” She spoke in a hurry and started blushing as she realized she confessed to her doctor about her virginity. Yes A grown ass women a virgin. 

“I’m sorry I should’n have said anything.” Pedro felt bad. 

“No it’s alright your my doctor.” She smiled and watched as he went to the computer to but it records. 

“Well Other then that your doing every healthy and your good. I do have a small question.” He spoke nervously.

“Yes sir?” 

“I do have a small interest in you and would like to take you out sometime?” Pedro managed to look up at Y/N.

“oh, well sure I nothing better to do anyway.” She giggled and smiled softly at Pedro. 

“Perfect I’ll pick you up tomorrow at 7pm?” He smiled and got up from his chair.

“Sure and I’m pretty sure you have my address in my profile right?” Y/N giggled and got off the bed heading towards the door.

“As a matter of fact yes I do.” Pedro opened the door walking me out, they said goodbye and Y/N couldn’t believe what just happen, She got asked out by her doctor. But Y/N felt guilt about not telling her doctor about her secret.

The next day it was normal by the afternoon Y/N got nervous as she started getting dressed for her date, She did her hair in some nice curls and wore a flowery dress. It was 7pm and she heard a knock honk outside her door, she smiled grabbing her purse locking her door walking to his car. 

“Hello.” She got in the car smiling softly. 

“These are for you Amor.” Pedro grabbed the flowers from the back seat and leaned in kissing my cheek. 

“Thank you Pedro.” She leaned in to smell the white roses and smiled gently. He drove off and we got to the city, He drove downtown and we walked around together. 

“Okay I hope you like food trucks I know this amazing truck that sells good tacos.” Pedro grabbed my hand. 

“Mi Amor, I love both you don’t have to worry.” She rubbed his hand gently. They placed orders and waited off to the side. They soon called out or names and we grabbed or plate of tacos going to find a seat by the fountain. They sat down taking bites of their food. 

“this is amazing Pedro you surprised me.” Y/N smiled brightly rubbing my stomach. 

“te gusta, me alegro de que te guste mi amor.” Pedro lean in and kissed her cheek. Y/N smiled and looked down at her plate remembering she had to tell him her secret. 

“Pedro I have to tell you something and I’m so sorry I have to tell you this.” Y/N began growing tears in her eyes. 

“Mi Amor no llores.” He reached over stroking her cheek.

“I’m pregnant I had a boyfriend before but once I told him I was pregnant he left me. so now I’m here on my own about to be a single mother.” Y/N started crying softly. Pedro looked at her shocked but then leaned in holding her close stroking her hair. 

“Listen Mi amor, I’m here I had an interest for you since the very first check up and I loved everything about you. I will stay with you and help out with the baby and see how things go.” He spoke in my ear and kissed her cheek. 

“Pedro really you don’t have too I don’t want to ruin your life with a child that isn't even yours.” She sniffed and wiped her eyes gently. 

“Don’t say that Y/N, and this is what I want. My chose and I want to stay with you no matter what comes our way.” Pedro grabbed her hands kissing them softly. Y/N looked at him and smiled reaching down to stroke his hair back gently. 

“Okay Mi amor, just promise you won’t break my heart.” She giggled softly.  “Nunca mi amor.”

“So that’s how I met your mommy and well you my love you were in mommy’s belly growing.” Pedro look back down to see the baby had fallen back to sleep and his wife had tears. 

“I swear you could have been like any other man and left me that day but I was lucky.” Y/N got up and grabbed the baby placing her in her crib. 

“I’m lucky to have ever met you in the first place, if not then I wouldn’t have this beautiful home and baby girl.” Pedro wrapped his arms around her waist bring her close to his chest kissing her lips more. 

“your such a romantic Pedro, I think that’s why I married you.” She giggled softly and stroke his cheeks gently. 

“Te amo mi amor.” He kissed down her neck softly.
