After your thrilling conversation(not) with Rufioh, and also kicking him out of the caves because you are craving to drink something else now and you don’t want anyone hanging in your caves.

You tell the drones to absolutely not let anyone in while you’re out for a quick duty break, and deciding to take less time between going and returning so to resume work as soon as possible, you go for your nearest convenience store, your walk is fast paced, and avoiding trolls in the way.

Then you open the door of the establishment, and glance around, looking for the alcohol section-

You freeze.

The one looking at you also freezes, there is a cigarette in between her fingers, and the face is familiar. She doesn’t bring it to her mouth again, and keeps staring at you as you look back, reaching and walking your way into the alcohol section and grabbing few bottles.

Not one of you blinks, both owl-eyed and like a deer in headlights.

You walk over, you have to pay for your boozy goods, you raise a bottle tentatively; questioning her intentions. She points at the touchless cash out service, you pay. Both staring at each other still, then, you slowly slide in her direction a bottle, and give her a meaningful glance.

She gives one back.
