hiiii, fellow wannabe dog haver here: what breeds would you like to have and why? my list is getting outragious lol

Dutch Shepherd - I love these things. So much. If I had to pick one favorite breed I would have to go with a dutchie. High drive bitey dogs are some of my fave kinds of dogs. Love the FCI lines, especially the short and rough haired dutchies. Would love to have a rough haired dutchie as a farm dog (on the farm I don't yet have) and a short haired dutchie to be an all around sport dog and try out ring sports, dock diving, scent work, bikejoring, etc. I'd also love to do SAR with a dutchie someday.
Canaan dogs: I have a whole post about them that I'll link here and it pretty much sums up why I like Canaans so much. Would also be fun to have a Canaan as a compact farm dog. Also my pfp is a Canaan Dog :)
Curly coated retrievers: as my current dog related goals/needs switch to needing a service dog, I've decided on pursuing a curly coated retriever as a service dog prospect. They're the tallest of the retrievers, which will be very beneficial for some tasks I'd like to train an SD to do, and they aren't as hyper friendly as labs and goldens but definitely not aloof like shepherds, but I have met some very friendly well socialized curlies. I just also think they're a really neat breed in general and a breed I really want to see grow and preserved more.
Livestock Guardian Dogs: not a breed but a breed group that I think is neat. I'd love to have a farm someday and get some LGDs for protecting said farm from predators, especially since I want smaller livestock like goats and chickens. I'd honestly probably go the Anatolian Shepherd route, but Sarabi dogs are cool too, although I don't think there are any in the US (I made a post about Sarabi here).
Presa Canario: not a breed I know a TON about, but I do think it's neat that they were traditionally used as catch dogs, and I just love a big ass brindle dog what can I say. Out of all the mastiff type breeds, Presa Canarios are my fave.

Actually I've been talking about flat coated retrievers a lot (FOR GOOD REASON) but like... Dutch Shepherds are the Ultimate dog to me. The drive, the look of an FCI dutchie, the versatility, and they are SO handler oriented. I met my first dutchie when I was 19 (she's my profile pic!) and I got to play fetch with that dog and I have NEVER had a game of fetch quite like that with any other dog. She was laser focused on me and on the ball, very intense but in the best possible way. Like all that existed in that moment was me and the ball and it was so cool to see that from a dog. Also I watched her do multiple 6 foot vertical jumps in a row when I first walked into her owner's house and really how could that NOT make me fall in love with dutchies????? I'm pretty sure she was a KNPV dutchie, and even though I have zero interest in a KNPV dog, I have heard amazing things about FCI dutchies and how they're a little less crazy/intense than their KNPV counterparts and that just sounds like a win win to me. While I love a dog for their working ability, having that be tempered a little bit so they can exist as a normal dog who isn't neurotic and constantly wanting to work is ideal, and, even though looks aren't everything, DAMN if FCI dutchies aren't the prettiest damn dogs ever
