What is the worst they've ever been hurt?
Honestly I think for Celio it was when he was a child and had several bones broken (including his jaw and a skull fracture). It almost killed him and caused serious lasting damage even to this day.
Aster actually never really got hurt until the veilguard! But I feel like probably he's been hurt pretty badly during the game timeline few times for a number of reasons (being a caster/healer puts a tactical target on your back, not being used to dodging, etc). I imagine the worst was probably being caught off guard and hit by an antaam soldier since he's more used to fighting enemies he can Sense like demons and other mages.
Which of their insecurities is the easiest to manipulate?
Celio has a HUGE complex about being helpless/small. Which like. He is very small! He's in fact very small and very aware of this which makes him very easy to prod into Proving Himself in various ways. He also has really severe dysphoria which makes him suseptible to toxic masculinity and weird dick measuring guy culture.
Aster is like....in general easy to manipulate. But he is PAINFULLY aware that many (or MOST) people don't like him enough to consider him a friend. He's weird and off-putting and too sincere about everything. He knows this. He's as okay with that as he's ever gonna be. But if someone were to pretend to be closer with him than they are as a means to get him to do things, he would fall for it every single time. And then when he eventually found out (because he's oddly perceptive) he would forgive them, because that's how he is.
One of their loved ones has been grievously injured by the enemy. Who is it and how do they react?
So Celio would be killing and maiming and tearing like a little pissed off chihuahua if it were anyone he cared about for realsies (unless they were VERY close). If someone he barely knows or doesn't like is hurt hes like eh, many such cases. If it were someone VERY dear to him, like Lucanis (his partner) or Viago/Teia (his "siblings") or Lace (his best pal) he would lose it and stay with them until they were safe
Aster is Little Prince Freeze Response. Unless it's someone he for real does NOT know he is totally shut down and (depending on the severity) completely nonverbal for a day minimum. Even if he doesn't know the injured person someone will have to be like hey u can help btw, and he'll be like OH! Yeah! Sorry! before helping. (In a timeline where Davrin is sacrificed he doesn't speak for maybe 2 weeks)
