wait let me get on the veilguard hater train. playing as a shadow dragon elf is painful. silly me going into the game, i thought it would make sense to play an elf (historically enslaved in tevinter) that was a former slave and joined the shadow dragons when they escaped. so like someone who’s only ever been raised in tevinter. but nahh they decided an elf shadow dragon that gets adopted by a (human) family, yet still talks about the dalish gods like theyve been a dalish for years, apparently makes more sense. like am i losing my mind that its the most convoluted boxed-in option. because the game’s just completely unwilling to address that slavery is still legal in tevinter. sure theyll have that be the common cause for the shadows dragons on paper, but you cant do anything with it. oh and they got so mad at your mercer rook too for going overboard when killing fucking slavers that they exiled you for a bit. like what the fuck

also why did they have to put a sex scene in with Alistair and Morrigan
