It had been a week full of absolute bliss. Honestly, he should have been scared about how much he was enjoying it all. Chelsea was in Chicago on a business trip which meant that Avery really had the chance to play house with Lana. “Let me show you my favorite room, okay. No one is ever in here....probably because it’s never open.” Avery rambled as he pulled Lana through the Metropolitan Museum of Art. They must have been wandering around for hours, they were due for a break. After navigating through the rooms, he finally found a quiet and dark one, the walls painted to look like the outside of Versailles. As he expected, no one there, except the guard he stopped in every few minutes to make sure no one was touching the art.
With a little grin he moved to sit down on one of the benches, looking back to Lana. “How has the trip been for you?” he asked, wrapping his arms playfully around her waist, pulling her down into his lap. That was the one nice thing about New York, unlike Scranton nobody really looked twice at PDA. “Better than California, right?” he smirked.
