To be honest, I grew up with a "father" who would psychologically terrorize me at the slightest mistake. He would threaten to throw me out of the house. He never apologized, never for the words he said or simply for his tantrums because he doesn't like to lose. He always has to be right. There is no one better than him. His words, not mine.
Growing up with a father like that, as the first daughter, makes you realize that from an early age you are a victim of a patriarchal system where your father enjoys the benefits.
And my goal, after understanding and studying the reality around me, is to be the one who hates this system. "You are the least favorite daughter" is exactly how it is, and that's okay.
