I have been a Tar Heel fan since as long as I can remember. Unlike those New Jersey kids that go to D00k, I was born into this rivalry, I didn't adopt it once I got to Carolina. That's what separates UNC and Duke fans. Most UNC fans were brought up UNC fans, they were born into the rivalry, Duke fans adopt it once they come here.
I managed to get D00k tickets from a good friend but having no one to go with and being a strong believer in karma, I gave my ticket to a senior girl whom had never gotten tickets. I know that there will be another opportunity for me, I'm only a first year, and I know that I will go to a D00k game someday. But tonight I will be watching it all go down from my living room.
