now , since living in twinrivers , his old life has become a distant memory . as he began school again , he didnโt bother to correct anyone to his preferred name , simply becomingย โdavidโ . as time passed slowly , the hope of seeing his friends again faded . eventually , he realized pursuing his future in journalistic filmmaking would be a better use of his time instead of living in a past that felt like a dream .ย

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย iโve taken gordo from the beginning of the lizzie mcguire movie which was summer break after middle school graduation . being that gordo is now twenty , that means that heโs completed high school / some college at twin rivers .
