She certainly seemed very much surprised, he thought, as she stared at him, not without some concern.
Had he offended her? Probablyā¦A thought that made his heart sink. He hadnāt intended it. He hadnāt intended to kiss her in the first place.

And she looked so pretty when she blushed; a thought he was very quick to banish from his mind.

Cerus seemed quiet for a long while, seemingly thinking. Perhaps he was confused? After all, he couldnāt have meant what he had done.Ā
It was just so odd. Kira didnāt know Cerus to be impulsive in the slightest. He was a rather calculating man. Usually taking in the pros and cons of most any situation he found himself in.

And his silence only allowed her to further contemplate the tingling sensation that spread from her lips to almost the rest of her face.
He coughed and Kira looked to his face, observing any other strange behaviors. The back of her hand delicately felt his forehead,Ā āYou donāt seem to be feverish.ā She mentions, knowing fully well that she herself at this point probably was.
āYou havenāt been drinking have you?ā She questions, unsure of Cerusā habits, she didnāt think he was the type. Kira was an affectionate drunk too, so she couldnāt blame him. She smiles, though her face is still bright red.
āPerhaps you just need some rest hmm? Come along, I will escort you to your room. Rume may be your next personal healer, but Iām aĀ ādoctorā where I come from and itās doctorās orders. You probably havenāt been sleeping enough.ā She notes, taking her leave as she expects him to follow her the way back.
