he’s so bad at it. his tactics are as follows:

1) insult someone until they fuck you out of anger and pride.

2) make them uncomfortable by overdoing luxurious compliments

3) stare. stare really hard. and hope they magically fall in love with you.

he’s not a smooth talker unless he’s comfortable with you, and banter becomes easier. he’s not very funny to the masses, his comedic timing is alright but his jokes are too niche or too broad to appeal to common audiences. a lot of the time his battalion recognizes he’s trying to make a joke and give him a pity laugh or a friendly pat on his shoulder. his radical views are often perceived as dark humor when he was completely serious when saying them. sometimes he backs down and allows you to think they’re a joke, sometimes he doesn’t.

he’s also prone to biden-ing, simply being around someone as much as possible. as much as he can afford. he’ll hang around and wait for you to notice him.

once he’s with you, and he’s locked you down in some capacity, his flirting tactics would morph. he’d favor phrases with dirty double meanings in public circumstances, and talking dirty to you like you aren’t already together.
