The texting Emmet drunk post makes me wonder how different guys would respond to a drunken request to send a picture of their Pokémon. Like, who complies vs being like “where are you, are you okay!?”
Child Ingo and Emmet both awkwardly cuddling their two partner pokemon and trying to ignore the flames/soul stealing and electrical shocks.
Child Cyrus sadly hiding his Rotom and braving the electrical shocks.
Child Corbeau having to down so many pecha berries due to getting poisoned by his beloved friend, Venipede.
Child Lance sleeping in a straight log position alongside his Dratini.
Child Grimsley waking up because his Purrloin decided to lay herself across his face. She is loudly purring
Child Steven happily cuddling his Beldum, completely uncaring of the cool and hard body of the pokemon.
I wonder what pokemen would do zhuazhou with the kids...
Ingo could be swayed on it, and he would tear up if Erin grabbed the train he added. (Very insistent.)
Emmet does it out of curiosity. He, too, places a train. However, the girls ignore it. Emma goes after a microphone that Elesa had suggested while Inka grasps a seal. Emmet states plainly he does not know how to take that.
Corbeau would do it, too. Erabitori, more correctly. He would take it very seriously and notes what each child chooses intensely. Lupine picked a shalot, Oleander picked the sword, Galan picked money, Wisteria picked a calculator, and Lilium chose a pen. He feels these are all wonderful choices for them.
Lance, too, as a very traditional sort. The family celebrates Yuji choosing a sword. That was what Lance chose as well, drawing in more comments on the already budding resemblance. Honoka picked a microphone that Clair insisted for some modernity. No one knows how to take that one.
Steven would do it, but only with your wanting. He is not so certain about many traditional things. He places a rock in with the typical items. Naturally, Lapis grabs said rock. Steven applauds and says she continues the legacy of the Stones. You want to sigh.
Grimsley says he is curious about it, more wanting to take it as a game of chance than any real fortune ceremony. Granted, he is shocked when Morrigan crawls for the coin he put down for fortune while Nero picks up the sword. He feels a bit of dread at the implications there.
Cyrus is very uncertain and comments about the absurdity of superstition. However, he will relent under an acceptance for normalcy. Lenie crawling towards the ruler and holding it curiously makes his heart race. Something inside of him bursts with a happiness that makes him nervous. Apparently, that had been what he grabbed, too.
N would gladly experience this. He thinks it sounds like a lovely thing to gauge what interests Clover, at least. And, anything calling on fortune seems like a nice thing. Naturally, Clover takes to the grass straw on the table and holds it. He finds that absolutely adorable.
Volo is hesitant to do it, as it is an outside custom. But, he supposes he has nothing necessarily against it. Calling on his ancestors? Sure, why not. He watches the items placed before Astrea. Her crawling towards the Spooky Plate shocked him. She held it so happily that he felt himself grin. Yes, his plans could still manifest.
Lance would gift a Dratini as a courting gesture from his clan, but also because he genuinely adores them and hopes that you will, too. They are just noodle babies who want food and love. (Dragonite are shockingly attentive parents, Lance would explain.)
Steven gifts you a Beldum, as it is his favourite pokemon. He simply must give one to you in the hopes it will show you just how wonderful steel-types are. Though, he will also admit that he enjoys having everyone know that he was the one who gave you it – A clear association with him. (Besides the accessories he always dresses you in.)
Corbeau bravely gifts you a Venipede. He just wants you to appreciate his beloved bug. Scolipede and him watch your reactions to the hatchling closely. When you pet it gently, he lets out a relieved breath. You were as enamoured with the pokemon as he was. (The Venipede is a clear claim to everyone else that knows him.)
Cyrus offers up a Zubat when you mention wanting something to dote on. He says you can even use your own blood to feed it. Glaring at him resolves nothing. (You both already have shared custody of his Rotom.)

At least everyone agrees Cyrus gives his grunts insurance.
They also get to drink the murky liquid in the fridge, too.
Cyrus coming home to six Bidoofs now living in his apartment. He stares at you in silence, pondering what the hell this is. You announce this will be the functional family dynamic he needs. He opts to return back to his company building. You follow him. (With the Bidoofs in tow.)
Cyrus sleeps with his Weavile curled up on the pillow beside him, Houndoom laid across the end of the bed, Crobat hanging from the ceiling above him and watching him, Honchkrow perched on his dresser, and Gyarados in the bathtub. It is a sight for anyone to behold.
