“Cynda, your studies,” he reminds her from where he's bent over scattered parchments, reading glasses low on the bridge of his nose. A long sigh rings out from the table in the corner, where the child is meant to be practicing her letters.
“This has nothing to do with magic,” she grumbles under her breath, voice shrill with the fury only an eleven year old can manage. Ulumb tries in vain not to laugh, not wanting to encourage the unruly pupil. She sees Kazara's ear twitch from his place on the floor, seated close to the fire light.
Cyndassa vs. Mannimarco, King of Worms

Thinkin' about Cyndassa's Quest The Beast in Daggerfall.
Yes, everyone's favourite Maid to Castle Daggerfall, Cyndassa.
Specifically I'm thinkin' about her brother's death line when she sends ya t' kill him:
The body of the werewolf begins to transform before your very eyes. In just a few minutes, it has become a young man who seems to bear a strong resemblance to Cyndassa.
Which is... not 'ow that works in The Elder Scrolls.
Like, literally not even in Daggerfall. Loup corpses remain loups and the Daggerfall-exclusive book On Lycanthropy says:
Werewolves do not revert to their human forms upon death, despite what legends will tell you. I had the opportunity to look at the monster's steaming body out in the snow before it was carried away to be burned. The teeth, clotted with the flesh of the beggars, were horrifying, but the claws shocked me even more. I have since seen live lycanthropes battle golems, atronachs, and other beings not harmed by mundane weapons, and concluded that they act as naturally enchanted weapons.
(though clearly nobody told Varnard Karessen, the in-universe author, that Hand-to-Hand Attacks have no material restrictions, so even Varnard could clock a Werewolf... before being torn t' shreds)
Anyway, if we wanted t' make this make sense, 'ow could we? I mean, The Beast is a mandatory quest for completion of Daggerfall, after all.
Well, we could say that Cyndassa's Brother was a strange case. Like he got a rarer strain of Lycanthropy where after death they do revert. So while Varnard is correct mostly there's a few exceptions, which is actually where the 'myth' came from.
Yeah, makes about as much sense as any explanation, right? Let's go with that.
Also, don't say anythin' about the idea of Cyndassa causing her brother's werewolf-ness. That's a mod and thus irrelevant t' this discussion.
And, of course, the real answer is 'someone didn't talk with someone else about this detail and nobody caught the contradiction because Daggerfall is a massive game.
