During the weekend, I tried out visual novel game VA-11 HALL-A (pronounced like Valhalla). You play as bartender Jill who is trying to get by and earn enough money to at least pay her rent. Jill works in the bar VA-11 HALL-A where you will meet some pretty interesting characters and serve them their drinks. I find this game pretty interesting so far. It took me some time to figure out how to make the drinks. I would follow the recipe to the letter but would end up failing miserably. Luckily you get chances to keep trying until the drink comes out right. However, the whole story depends on the kind of the drinks you serve your customers and paying attention to what they ask for. Other than that, this is a pretty good game and it has quite the story as well as a good soundtrack. And with that: Plaudite!
