My current biggest pet peeve is everything being called AI. It flattens a bunch of different technologies together and conflates them. Which can both create panic about technologies that are actually fine and also lend credence to technologies that don't deserve it.

Season 3 of Twin Peaks sure does turn the strange up to an eleven. I'm enjoying it though, even if I have no idea what's happening half the time.

I understand why people say "be your own biggest fan" when it comes to self marketing. It just happens that that's not very helpful advice when I'm the type of person that doesn't typically post much about the things I am genuinely a big fan of. Like, I can count the amount of fan-art I've created in my entire life on one hand.

Every time I see someone defend a movie or book by saying "It's not that deep, just turn your brain off" All i can think is that if i saw anyone say that about my work, I'd cry
