🌀 beetleperson species flag — a species flag for beetlepeople (or you can just say beetle(s), if you want), people who are partially beetle in some way. made in specific reference to pest from regretevator, but not exclusive to elevatorheads.
coined by felix. tagging @radiomogai, @goatgai, @io-archival, @enderluna, and @boygirlpetewentz
already coined? consider this the ranqai version, not an alt flag. 🌀
Leaf insects cannot usually be housed with stick insects as their camoflague is so effective that the stick insects will eat them. The leaf insects will not do anything to prevent this as their main defensive mechanism is to stand still and act like a real leaf

Little story from today! Bug/wasp mentioned but like, let’s make it about Odlaw.
Was at a theme park today with my husband and friends. We were sitting down for lunch and I feel a bug around my face that I feel brush against my cheek. I thought it may have been a bee as I definitely saw a blur of yellow and black. My bestie very gently shoos it away and lets me know it was a wasp. She then of course said “it was Odlaw!” As it flew off. Never felt particularly anxious, I tend to stay as calm as I can around bees/wasps as I know the more you freak out the more likely they are to sting. But I keep thinking about how I just gently felt it against my cheek.
