What if Cvrly re-learned to walk with the use of prosthetics/mobility aids around the same time that his baby first learned to walk?

Oh gosh your last amazing drawing of C/urly where they’re talking about him like he’s not even there 😭 this poor guy, he deserves so much and I can’t even imagine how worried he must be the entire time that somethings gonna go wrong

oh for SURE. i mean, logically he probably knows that the baby will be fine, but when you’re unable to even feed yourself you never know exactly what’s going to happen. like, what if they take his baby and he never sees her again? what if something happens and cvrly has a placental abruption or some other medical thing happen? only to be unable to go and get himself help? idk. im sure cvrly’s anxiety was through the roof from the moment he learned he was pregnant.

oh absolutely. i mean, imagine having no say in anything they’re doing to your baby. maybe he had a potential birth plan from before he even got on the ship, like if he ever had kids. you basically would have the autonomy ripped from you. for me, i think it would be like when doctors give birthing parents irl the “husband stitch”. he also doesn’t know anyone that well and has no idea what they’ll do to his baby. what if the scans were wrong and something is wrong with his baby? what if his body gives out and he dies on the table? what if they never let him see his baby?

while i drew it that cvrly would get that baby to chest moment/letting the birthing parent see their child, i don’t think that the people who found him would actually let him do that or do it for him. i think that they would treat him more like a comatose patient without any brain function, despite the fact that his mind is completely active.

of course, this all depends on who finds him.

Everytime time something happens with my mom my grandma immediately jumps to her dying and being in the hospital and now she is on the phone with the fucking baptist hospital in homestead. Like for once in her life can she just not jump to little the worst conclusion. And to make it all worse my mom butt dialed my grandma and she heard a man in the background so she must be in the hospital on her death bed. Makes so much fucking sense. FUXK BRVH
