The wind-driven sands continued to patter against a section of the bunker. A fair distance away, within view, was the ship. Useless, until the storm passed, and Jasper estimated they would spend a day swiping sections of the ship from its earthly barrage.  She paced and stalked the center all endlessly and senselessly, impatient and restless and firmly disgruntled. Nothing to do but wait. Everything had gone wrong since they entered the atmosphere. It seemed naut less than a miracle that they had found the bunker to begin with. The encrypted data was in her pocket, stowed away close to her heart. She unclipped her communicator, dialing her Technician’s number, her disgruntled mug able to be viewed from the other connecting line as she waited for the other to answer.
