"I'm glad you and Christopher could come spend Christmas with us." Maddie stated excitedly as she entered the livingroom of the cabin with two mugs of hot chocolate. Eddie had started putting up the remaining ornaments on the tree.
"Thanks for inviting us. I think Chris will enjoy actual snow for Christmas." Eddie was as polite as ever, thanking her as he took a cup. He sipped it then carefully put it on the coffee table. He adjusted his hoodie when it nearly slipped off his shoulder and huffed in amusement.
"You like your hoodies extra big too?" Maddie grinned, sipping her own drink.
"It got stretched out a bit, thanks to your brother." Eddie replied with fondness instead of annoyance.
"He steals your clothes? That's so cute." Maddie teased slightly.
"I think it's called sharing, the way he does it." Eddie corrected. Maddie gave a confused tilt of her head, but didn't have a chance to question before the front door swung open. In walked Buck, who was curling in on himself in an attempt to save warmth.
"Snow is -so- overrated!" He griped, pulling off his jacket and letting it fall to the floor, all while he made a bee line to Eddie.
Maddie's eyes widen in slight surprise then quickly turned to amusement when she realized what her brother was doing. Buck lifted the back of Eddie's hoodie, enough to pull it over his own head, and shuffled his body inside. Eddie nearly dropped the ornament he'd been holding and let out a surprised laugh. It didnt slow Buck down in the slightest. He wrapped his arms around the shorter man's waist and buried his head into his neck. It brought his front flush against Eddie's back. The once loose hoodie was now straining from the two bodies.
"Yep." Maddie laughed and nodded her head to a smiling, but flustered Eddie. He softly stroked brown curls that popped out from under his-their- hoodie. "That is definitely sharing."
