Summary:  As a doctor and a boyfriend, John is constantly worried about Sherlock lack of care for his ‘transport’.

“I CAN’T sleep or eat right now John, I’m on a case!”

“But if you don’t you’re going to faint!”

“No!”

With a flourish of dressing gown, Sherlock falls onto his chair, in his typical ‘thinking pose’.

After half an hour, when he was really deep in the maze of his Mind Palace, John left him to fetch something in Mrs Hudson's flat. Once back in the kitchen, he puts two cans of meal replacement and a little bottle on the countertop.

Smashing down two pills in dust, he mixes them with the chocolate shake. Walking back to his boyfriend, he puts the mug in his hand and brings it to his lips. Automatically, Sherlock starts drinking until it’s empty. Removing the mug carefully, John replaces it with a glass of water… and waits. Twenty minutes or so later, the curly mop of hair of the detective falls on the back of the chair, a slight snore escaping his lips.

“Good man, now sleep…” With a quick kiss, John went back to his book.

After 5 hours, Sherlock wakes up and falls back into his Mind Palace as if nothing happened; an hour later he screams. “It’s the lawyer!” then more quietly, “I told you I don’t need sleep! I’m feeling wonderful and well rested but oddly… I want chocolate biscuits!”

John Marston x reader

I'm just gonna cry over Marston brb.

Summary: You thought he was dead after the gang broke up and Micah went crazy. You thought you lost John the one man you loved and trusted.

After the fight you didnt see John Arthur sent you away with Sadie telling you John was dead. You were broken but went on riding away from the chaos. You and Sadie stayed in a hotel for a few days trying to find your feet. After that you went on bounty hunting trying to make a life. John always was in your mind the sweet moments you had.

The camp was quite as everyone slept, you sat by the fire watching the flames dance when someone dropped a blanket around you.

"You'll get sick out here" John sighed as he sat next to you. You laughed quietly shaking your head before leaning on his shoulder.

"What are you doing up?" he asked.

"Could ask you the same thing" You said back as he chuckled.

"I couldn't sleep" You whispered remembering the nightmare.

"The nightmares?" He asked quietly as you nodded to him. He put his arm around you squeezing your shoulder.

"I'm sorry" He whispered kissing your hair you smiled to yourself a man so reckless and dangerous was a softy.

You smiled at the memories as you rode down to New Austin. A gang has been causing trouble for some local farmers you and Sadie went to investigate. Another man though had come and cleared it up, you both got curious as you looked to the man exiting the sherrif office. Your mouth dropped open not believing your eyes.

"John" He froze turning to your voice.

"Y/n?" he questioned you got off your horse running to him as he embraced you tightly. You smiled tears down your face seeing him alive. You pulled back smiling but smacked him across the face.

"You could've come found me you fool!" you yelled he looked quilty as you sighed hugging him again.

"I was told you were dead" He whispered you frowned.

"By who?" you asked.

"Dutch and Micah I didnt want to believe it but I looked everywhere" John said his heart broken.

"I only survived because of- of Arthur" You frowned the change in his voice.

"Arthur?" you questioned.

"Micah killed him" John whispered you only nodded sadly.

"Your alive though" You whispered he cupped your cheek nodding as he leaned his forehead against yours.

"hello? Love birds?" You jumped turning back to Sadie.

"Well I'll be damned" John gave her a hug smiling.

"Good to see you to Marston" Sadie said smiling.

"I've got a place, Beechers hope near black water funny enough. Would you like to come with me?"John asked you nodded turning to Sadie.

"I'll have a snoop" She smirked. You both rode off emotions flooding through you, you found him he was alive.

You were shocked at the house even more chocked finding Charles and Uncle. It was amazing the ranch house the barn.

"A ranch man huh?" you joked as he chuckled elbowing you lightly.

"I needed a place to stay, a place to call home. I found Charles in Saint denis and Uncle found me" he chuckled. You smiled at the man he was building himself a life.

"Y/n?" he questioned nerves in his voice.

"Yes?" you answered concerned.

"Would you?- would you stay here with me?" he asked quietly a smile spread across your features as you hugged him tightly.

"I would love to John" You whispered kissing him gently.

So you stayed you and your Ranch man making a life. Sadie left to continue bounty hunting and Charles went north in hope of a family of his own. You were happy beyond belief you found him healthy and alive.

Sometime after he asked you to marry him making you shocked but said yes a hundred times. You married on the hill with only a few people, your life was nice the ranching life suited you and John. Uncle was lazy as always but you couldn't kick him out. You fell pregnant soon after making John the happiest man alive and soon a little girl came into your lives, you both promised the perfect life you could both give this is what family was about.
