I spent all evening upgrading the cabinet to a 19" BOE from Buy Stuff Arcades and added the sideart from repro arcades (completing the look started by GI Joel's riser) in the UK and now this machine is already a lot better and is more like how an a deluxe Midway style Arcade 1Up should be than that new NBA Jam!!
The new monitor seems huge and it makes the characters look jumbo like they should be and for some reason seems bigger than the one in my KI Pro even though they are technically the same size and brand of monitor!
I've gone ahead and added some inexpensive Amazon speaker grills here like they used with my other cabs
I earned the money taking surveys 😅
Tattoo Assassin's is a really bad knock off of Mortal Kombat that makes me appreciate MK even more but someone made a beautiful cabinet to run it in emulation from a spare MK cabinet and I think it's awesome!
Thanks to Jojo from https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpoWAcxR-ngiXuDwA-gf29w for the great thumbnails.
I especially like the dragon side of the artwork for this cabinet!
The tiger side was neat too!
I think this cabinet is better with black speaker grills than chrome ones..

I posted about it on twitter soon might as well show it here too. I've been trying to buy a real Dance Dance Revolution arcade can for a long ass time and it's just not happening. Either they aren't for sale in my area or someone beats me to it. But, if you recall, I've made my own arcade cab previously I figured I'd DIY it. I am building an arcade style USB Dance pad with wood and metal. I cut the control box out of a soft pad and I'll be soldering the new wiring on to that. I'll also harvest the bar from my old set up to go on this new one as well. Still a long way to go but hey, it looks like a real pad at this stage! Included photos of the soft pad in case you were wondering what was in those things.
Happy birthday to my Galaga themed MAME cabinet, I finished building it 2 years ago 🎉
