Hotel Mulino Grande by Antonella Tesei Hotel Mulino Grande was designed by Antonella Tesei and is locate in Cusago, Italy. The hotel born from the renovation of an old mill of the sixteenth century with 21 rooms and suites, a lounge bar, spa and meeting rooms that encompass design, gastronomy, wellness, sustainability, high-tech and a careful restoration of the elements of the past.

OfHouses presents “Pritzkers’ First Houses, part III”: Renzo Piano (Pritzker 1998) established the office ‘Piano & Rogers’ in 1970 in partnership with Richard Rogers (Pritzker 2007). At around the same time as their ground breaking scheme for the Centre Georges Pompidou Museum in Paris, they received this little commission to built four cheap, so-called factory houses, in a little village on the outskirts of Milan. By employing a double roof with exposed giant steel trusses, the interior is freed of any structural limits and the owners enjoy maximum freedom in defining the layout and the look of their space.
