I finally finished this project that's been in my head basically since I got into the Furby community last year (inspired by the reddit post in the last pic) and I made a heccin pastel rainbow Furbong Furby bong and I love it. I used long pile faux fur, so obviously this would be a piece for decoration/show (look grandma it can actually be a flower vase now! Lmao) the mouth on the bong was far too large for my mouth so I reused it to make this art piece. There's a lot of hot glue (I'm a crafting newbie I apologize) and his face is from a 98 skunk donor that I hot glued together and onto the fur. I used the moveable beak method but it difficult to move his beak with all the hot glue that I had to use. He has character though and I love him! Found a furby cryptid online he is hung up at an old antique shop. Megaplex 2019 Furby Meet! #3
I met so many wonderful people and even a possible future partner of mines there.We also came up with a “Furby Naming Ceremony” i will be uploading the individual ceremony's that happened in full.I really hope other furby meets catch onto this trend because it was really fun coming up with names for the un-named furbies as a collective group then all deciding the final name.Everyone wrights down a name they want to suggest on a slip for each individual furby then the main panelist of the group calls out the names one by one.When a name clicks we all start saying the name that sounds best until basically the whole group is saying the same name.Then we say “happy birthday “name here” “ then clap for the furby now being reborn with a new identity.It was so amazing seeing so many people coming together because of our love and appreciation for these little souls.
