cursed14thsubstitute     ~      Dido's Lament
The voice of the female opera singer started to rise higher as she reached the refrain
of the aria ( Kanda, through the annoying influence of Tiedoll, knew a lot more about
opera than he thought was necessary ), but Kanda wasn't watching her. No, his eyes
swept around the opera house, trying to catch a glimpse of shocking white hair.Â
He had felt a vague burst of familiar emotions coming from inside of the opera house
and followed the possible lead with Johnny ( who was crying as he watched the stage,
swept up with the pure emotion in the singer's voice as she lamented her death ). They
had been looking for Moyashi for a week now to no avail, and while he could not see a
reason for Moyashi to be inside of an opera house of all things, Kanda's senses were
the first lead they had aside from blindly following Cross's debts.Â
"Death is now a welcome guest," the woman on the stage sang, each
syllable with one or two notes attached to it ( rising higher and higher
      in her grief ).Â
Sharp eyes continued to glance around until -- there. It seemed that his instincts had
indeed paid off, considering the familiar head of hair. He glanced at Johnny who still
seemed to be blubbering and deemed him unnecessary for now ( he also knew that
Johnny would follow soon enough, his loyalty connecting him to Moyashi ).Â
With his usual grace, the aria covered any soft thumps his boots would have made
against the floor, and he focused on the white hair ( the familiar emotions that he
could sense even in the mess of the opera house ).Â
When he was close enough, Kanda grabbed Moyashi's arm ( his Innocence ) to keep
him from running away as the singer lamented, "Remember me, but ah! forget my fate."
ă Moyashi, ăhe stated with a rather neutral expression.Â
