I don’t want to be greedy but there aren’t more pages right?
Sadly, this is all. Counting the color page (that I didn’t add to my screens as there are already versions of it going around), it makes 20 pages in total.
I understand these aren’t many and it can be frustrating for everyone, but then we got a proper chapter and given how Winter issues seem to be the ones Hoshino skips most often (correct me if wrong) I’ll count my blessings.
The chapter also stars and focuses on both Allen and Kanda, who are between the characters that take the most time for Hoshino to draw, so I guess there was no helping it.

Hmm based on observation I would like to think it’s around chapter 70 (Eshi fight) as I noticed that, before chapter 70 there are a lot of cross-hatching and line works for shading, after chapter 70 there are more solid colour and way lesser cross-hatching. But as I said it’s based on my observation so there is a high chance that I might be incorrect ^^;
I would search more for... inexperience, so to speak? A drop in quality. Also, given the reasons it’s hard to believe it happened that early.
This is a bit of a spoiler for the translation but who cares. Hoshino says she changed to digital because her health didn’t allow her to work as she did previously (for example, she moved often to a cafe shop to work in the names and other things) and that she didn’t practice or anything after receiving her new shiny tablet... she started to draw the next chapter in the computer with no warm-up whatsoever.
That’s why I’m so curious. I really, really want to know which chapter was the “Hoshino has no chill” chapter, so to speak.

Maybe something among the lines of “he used to be in rocky relationship with Mugen but now he found peace/spiritual enlightment”? Perhaps the whole point of crystallisation is that
That may be the correct interpretation, yes! It sure fits his arc. Nice there.
However, I meant that the original text is so... minimalistic that I found difficult to find a proper way to translate it, that’s all. It’s difficult to explain, but the meaning is the intended.
Like, potential translations:
“After drifting, fight” “Drift, then fight” “Drift and then fight” or for the sake of simplicity “Drift and fight.”

i actually thought 20 pages was a lot? like if we aren’t getting 10 or less i think it’s fine
It’s definitely an acceptable number, but still lackluster for a trimestrer magazine. I’m pretty sure it’s a low number on average. Anyway, it’s understandable and we got a chapter so all is good.
