Just a few hours before #KluenCheewit's finale and I'm sure many of us have contradicting emotions. For though I'm not quite ready to say goodbye, I need this last episode to air STAT so I can get to the rewatch! Hearts were broken all over the place last week and one thing I keep coming back to with Sathit and Jeerawat is that they never seem to truly hear one another. They listen but don't understand what the other is saying (or isn't). I absolutely adored Jee in this scene but that doesn't mean I wasn't right there with Thit as well. I find it so very interesting that although this is right after his "altercation" with Chaiyan, his tone and demeanor with Jee is straightforward but gentle. To me, it's a testament to the fact that for quite some time now, Thit has been smack dab in the present with her, while it's Jee who is still stuck in the past. And while I don't blame her, I sympathize with this man that is basically watching the woman he loves in pain break up with him and walk out of his life, yet feels he has no right to stop her. Not because he's angry but because he loves her. His reaction is painful but he can't give her what she wants (not yet anyway) because he's not ready to let go and everything she's saying spells goodbye. Up until this point, I've appreciated that Sathit hasn't spoken of his feelings for Jee with anyone, because I'd rather he say it to her or no one at all, but it's equally frustrating that "anyone" also includes her. The way he's dealt with Jee has been very reactionary and leaned more toward deliberate, intimate action over overt, romantic speech and I'm sure for him, in their situation, he has found it hard to do much more than that but in this last episode I'm betting he's going to be putting his barrister training into some substantial personal use. 😏 I am so, so ready!!!
