They also mentioned Ireland wanting to change the definition of Genocide

You will never hear me say that what the IDF is doing is good and yes a lot of these things do match up with what the IDF is doing, but there is no intent to do it which is what Ireland and South africa want to change, which is problematic, why? Because that means war with a high death count of civilians could be labeled a genocide, meaning the word loses all meaning, meaning that countries that actually do it with intent might get overlooked because suddenly everyones doing it this means any countries you like might have done it under those permitters including Ireland!
Actually scratch that it doesn't even need to be a high death count it could be just one person do you see the problem suddenly actual genocides dont hold any weight when they happen
