ZERO JUDGEMENT. ... some of you might remember this film & some may have no idea what this is a picture of. this is sloth from the classic 80’s movie, the goonies. ... most of the movie you are, just like the goonies are, scared of sloth. He can’t really speak, he makes loud noises (he’s chained up), he is made to seem like he is a violent human being. ... we immediately judge this human being based on his looks & we forget to take into account the perspective. his family thinks he is a disgrace so they lock him up, they barely feed him (he’s hungry), he can’t speak well & so he screams in reaction to you screaming because he is just as scared of you as you are of him. all he wants is his “baby ruth” to have a snack because he’s hungry. ... HEALTHY BOUNDARIES ... I’m going to leave this here for everyone to enjoy. this has always been my favorite book of all times. this version of it has been incredibly exceptional as it helps explain & teach us beautiful human beings what healthy boundaries are, why everyone needs to have them, & why they are so important to have within our lives. ... do you have boundaries in relationships, with family or your significant other? MOVING WITH INTENTION. ...⁣ today was an incredibly rough workout (really every day is with Sydney). today was an extremely valuable lesson of reminding ourselves how important it is to push ourselves to that next level of greatness. If it didn’t hurt, we wouldn’t be out here achieving our goals. whether fitness goals, relationship goals, or self-love goals, each & every one of YOU is filled with greatness. sometimes we become so content with our lives, that we subconsciously or even unconsciously do not realize that we stopped trying to achieve our goals or our dreams. let me briefly say, there is nothing wrong with this if you’re aware & are choosing to be happy right where you are at. ⁣ ...⁣ every so often ask yourself does it burn (reference is regarding working out). are you flexing those brain muscles to learn more, do more, be more? are you #MAXINGOUT your life. are you #INTENTIONAL with what you are doing with your life, or did you forget to keep pushing yourself outside that comfort zone. maybe this is exactly what you need to hear. remember that regardless of what you’re feeling, there isn’t a right or wrong answer so long as you are happy. are you happy?⁣ ...⁣ life moves quickly. do what YOU want. do what YOU love. it’s never too late & you’re never too old or too young to begin. CHANGE IS SCARY; NO DOUBT... … for those that know me, you are aware that I embrace change in my life. Its even tattooed on my left to remind that it is the single most important thing in this world; to embrace it. It is inevitable. Its going to happen whether you plan for it or even if you don’t. Its going to happen when you least expect it, anticipate it, or even want it too. … we have only one thing that we can do when it comes for us; welcome it with open arms. believe, have faith, & know that its how we perceive these changes, that will become defining moments in our lives. how many times do we look back at change & recognize that without it, we wouldn’t have grown into the human being that we have become. … remind yourself that at this very moment you are the most perfect human being that you have come to be & you will constantly grow with each passing day. this is what makes you special. 07/30/2020 IG TO TAKE FOR GRANTED… ... the expression to take for granted means "to accept without question or objection," and often implies a lack of appreciation or gratitude. (eg, “many of us may take for granted the fact that we have access to clean drinking water”). we have all been in this situation, some still are, while others have yet to experience it. I do my best to ensure that I do not take things in my life for granted. It is so important to remind ourselves on a daily basis, not to take the people or the opportunities in our lives for granted. … one of the first times I can remember intentionally instilling this belief in my mind was when I used to work for Fontainebleau. every day I would come to work; stopping on the main drive, looking out at the ocean, & expressing out loud how grateful I am that I have been given the opportunity to work at this beautifully iconic resort. since then, there have been so many times in my life that I continue to remind myself of this concept. in relationships, both intimate & other, I remind myself how fortunate I am to have these beautiful people in my life & that I consciously choose to be here, as do they. … when is the last time that you took someone or something for granted & have you re-routed yourself to thinking about that someone or something differently? have you apologized for taking them for granted, & have you forgiven yourself from it? have you re-routed & apologized to yourself for feeling that way about something, & have you forgiven yourself from it? see, these things are still going to happen in our lives if we don’t re-route. whats important is how we react to them that make the difference. reminding ourselves that thinking neutrally will become natural one day & getting to that moment, may take some time. Its about being persistent, consistant, grateful, & forgiving that will allow us to be completely honest with ourselves; acknowledging what we may have done, & move forward from it every single time, knowing that we are better for having experienced it. … love you all, always! ... UNCONDITIONAL LOVE IS LIKE THE SUN⁣ ...⁣ If we as a society want to grow, we get to walk the path of unconditional love together. as an individual you probably already know that loving yourself is extremely important. loving yourself is the beginning of growing to giving & receiving love. If you’re able to love yourself, you bring peace and quiet into your life. you can see life through love’s glasses, which creates joy and makes everything just a little bit more beautiful.⁣ ...⁣ together, If more and more people awaken & walk the spiritual path, they often also work on themselves. they start to learn to love themselves & shine and pass this on to others. this way, we can grow as a society. we will have to open our heart together, to ourselves, to each other, to the divine. then, there’s only one thing left and that’s love.⁣ ...⁣ take a look at the sun; it shines, radiates & is always present. even if it’s cloudy, the sun is there & will always rise again. go outside on a sunny day, feel the warmth. open your heart and let the warmth & the light fully penetrate you, take it all in, feel it inside you. the sun gives and keeps on giving, no matter who & what & where you are. it shines whether we receive it or not, whether we enjoy it or not. and we see this as normal, we don’t even think about it, the sun is just there. we don’t think about giving something back to the sun for all its warmth & life, & still the sun doesn’t think about quitting to shine, because it doesn’t require anything back from us. It spoils us with her rays of unconditional love.⁣ ...⁣ there would be no life on earth without the sun. the sun is the same as the divine love. the sun is a manifestation of unconditional love. we also have this source inside of us. executing this is the step we can all take. we are still going to achieve this, step by step, because we have this sun inside of us.
