₊˚⊹ 𐦍༘⋆₊ ⊹ Cupiea ₊˚⊹ 𐦍༘⋆₊ ⊹
Material name: Winifred "Freddie" Alma Dehne
About Cupiea:
5'7"
Has a snout, of sorts (not pictured)
Goat-like nose (not pictured)
Goat-like mouth (not pictured)
Sharp teeth, like a carnivore.
Has claws instead of fingernails. They are an off-white color.
Tufts of fur grow between her breasts and on the sternum, on the shoulders, through the neck area, retaining the chestnut and white splotched patterning (not pictured)
Well-fed looking, slightly muscular. Average-sized. Cherubic looking. Rounded face
She has small horns, off-white color. Her horns are much smaller than her brother's and curve backward; they are about 5 inches long. She wears a small gold ring around one of them.
She has fuzzy goat ears, the fur is a chestnut color with white splotches (like a Nubian Goat), much like it is on her legs.
Golden eyes with the horizontal goat pupils.
Has a short goat tail.
Does not wear shoes, as she has hooves.
Very freckled everywhere. All over her face, her body. Her freckles stand out. She has almond skin and freckles.
Freddie's race: black and Irish (mixed, her dad's family is Irish, hence the freckles, her mom's family is black, hence the curly hair and darker skin)
Has a large star-shaped scar through the front and back of her right midriff. She was shot by hunters when she was 8. She wandered too close to the edge of the boundary for Fair Children; the hunters mistook her for an animal. It was an accident. The hunters were very apologetic.
Has moth wings on her hips. They are about two feet wide. They come out from the fur on her hips. They are a rusty color with small splotches of white throughout. Each wing has a small white heart shape in the center. She's a heart moth (Dicycla Oo). The wings are pretty thick and sturdy.
The hip wings are usually at rest, like a moth's, and are flat against her side when at rest. When happy/excited, they will flutter.
Does not shave
The fur on her legs is very curly and starts at her waist
Loves sweets.
Plays the harp
Music special interest
Clothing when not working: Wears loose-fitting pants or low-rise maxi skirts. The pants have slits up the side from the ankle until the waistband, so her hip wings are not irritated by the fabric. The skirts end below her wings and do not have slits. Her clothes are typically cotton or linen, neutral colors, like tan, brown, white, cream, maybe some olive colors, navy blues, and black. Wears ribbed tank tops or bandeau-style tops.
Has a sweater she adores and wears often. The sweater is brown in color, and smells like her very severely.
Clothing (when working): Eggshell-colored leotard with a high halter neck and high-cut leg holes. Around the leg holes are ruffles, also in eggshell color. Long, eggshell-colored balloon sleeve arm warmers that reveal the shoulders and end at the wrists. The back of the leotard starts below Cupiea's shoulder blades. The lower back portion of the leotard has a hole for her tail.
In the Winter Court's domain, Cupiea can be found wearing a cloak with a hood fashioned similarly to the fur on her legs (chestnut colored with white splotches). The hood has holes for her horns, and the front clasp of the hood is gold and the shape of a bow and arrow.
Wears two sets of waistbeads, in line with her Doveacean culture, symbolizing the polyamorous family she is a part of. The Dehne's (Cupiea's/biological) family beads are honey colored, with their last name displayed, and a symbol for their family, their symbol being a heart. For Billie's (biological) family, the Magdalenos, their beads are amber colored, display their last name, and have a spiral as their symbol. These are typically worn over clothes, so that others can easily identify what families one belongs to.
Wears two anklets: one is gold with a sun pendant, her, Anthe's, and Mese's trio symbol carved into the pendant (matching with Mese and Anthe), the other is two interwoven wires, one in silver, the other in copper. The golden anklet is from Mese/Anthe, representing their bond/relationship. The silver and copper anklet is from Fenna/Seven Lock, representing their bond/relationship with her brother
Brown curly (3c) hair on her head, short, rounded bob style with bangs and face-framing pieces. Wild and curly at all times. Ends around her chin. (She had another Messenger cut her hair right when she arrived for the war)
Smiles and laughs easily. Talks with her hands. Expressive.
Autistic. Her autism mostly presents as info-dumping, not getting social cues/slang/metaphors, and she has a hard time reading facial expressions. Stims with her hands. When listening to music, she will keep her hands by her side but will wiggle her fingers around. Will drum her fingers on her thighs in line with the music.
Autistic Naivety. Too trusting. Too open and honest.
Sexually/Medically abused by the commune leader (Gene, older woman) and commune doctor (Doctor Idalie, older woman).
Does not talk about her abuse. Walled off about such. Tries not to talk too much about the bad things from Fair Children. Will talk about the good things sometimes, but does prefer not to speak about Fair Children as a whole.
Her sense of humor is very much riffing/bantering/teasing. Loves a good bit. She and her brother banter constantly.
Her brain thinks faster than her mouth, and she'll say some things without thinking.
Not typically nervous or apologetic.
Doesn't understand when she's being weird; she grew up in a commune with different social rules.
She has a brother named Cupio. He is younger by 2 years
Cupiea's family at Fair Children is a polyamorous family. Her parents, her brother, and her other set of parents (unrelated, in a relationship with her biological parents), and their two kids: Billie and Theodore "Teddy." Freddie considers Billie and Teddy her sister and brother as well. Billie is 19. Teddy is 17. Billie's family (Billie, Teddy, Anya, Gabriel) have harrier hawk wings on their calves.
Does not see her background as weird, views it as normal, as it is all she knows.
Not ashamed of being herself, she is who she is.
Since she is fey, she cannot lie, but she can be vague or deflect. If she really doesn't want to talk about something, she will say, "I don't wanna talk about that," as it is not a lie.
Has a staring problem. Her eyes can see a lot, given the goat pupils. But she stares and does not blink (fey thing).
Out and proud lesbian
Anti-assimilationist. Does not feel the need to mask or adapt herself to fit human social norms
Has a stuffed goat she loves very much
Has a bit of autistic echolalia and will repeat things back. This also stems from the fact that messenger training teaches you to repeat back pertinent information to confirm, but it is mostly just autistic echolalia
Other stims may include: Opening and closing her wings, running her claws through her hair, tail flicking, tracing patterns with a claw tip, running her hands back and forth over the fur on her legs, humming
She may address Cupio as "Messenger Cupio, of the Winter Court and of Fair Children, on this [Number] moon, I am [pleased (good news), saddened (bad news), here (neutral news)] to report..." playfully when teasing, or seriously when she doesn't know how to begin a serious conversation.
When Cupiea is addressing Mese/Anthe with her reporting style, she keeps it pretty similar, but in a more playful manner, as Mese and Anthe are her lovers/partners. Similar for Fenna and Seven Lock
Cupiea used to introduce herself as follows, and may fall back on such at times: "I am Cupiea of Fair Children, Messenger of the Summer Court, daughter of Cupiearia and Cupierion of Fair Children, and of houses Dehne and Magdaleno."
Cupiea sometimes falls back on her learned manners from the Feywild

Doveacean Abilities
Minor illusions
Generating items for trade
Musical enhancement (can summon songs, singing, humming, summoning, or instrument playing influences emotions)
Ability to generate fairy circles to travel between planes of existence at will
Ability to speak any language within the Feywild
Innate sense of time in different Realms. Can tell the time differences between Realms since the time changes across Realms, territories, and planes of existence at random. Know the conversion by feeling. One day, 1 hour in the Material plane may be 1 day in the Feywild, on another, 2 hours in the Feywild may be 3 days in the Material plane. They know these things innately.
About Doveaceans
Messengers and guides of the Feywild.
Highly respected and sought after
Polyamorous species
Very tactile species
Cannot lie
Can have wings of any type, anywhere on their body
Satyr, but animal base varies (deer, antelope, goat, sheep, etc., any horned bovidae, cervidae, or ruminant animal)
Eye colors range from pale yellow to deep amber. They all have horizontal pupils.
Can speak and understand all languages of the Feywilds
Can generate things, like trinkets, food (cakes, sweets), flowers, etc. (limited by size and rarity)
Typically have a weapon, assigned during their coming-of-age ceremony
All have horns, sizes, and styles vary
All have claws
All have carnivore teeth
All are heavily furred
All have a snout, though the snout takes the shape of whatever species their lower half is (so a goat lower half would get a goat snout, a deer lower half would get a deer snout, and so on)
Isolationists in the Material Realm
Wings incapable of flight
Celebrate Solstice and Equinox (as do most creatures within the Seasonal Domains)
In the Feywild, Doveaceans live wherever because they are more respected there, but they tend to form villages of Doveaceans. In the Material Realm, leaders and communal rules vary more, like human societies. Fair Children exists in the Material Realm.
Historically, those with different wings had different roles, but now they all serve as messengers, travelers, guides, and reporters to The Courts. The Courts did not want their abilities to go to waste.
Adulthood is marked when they get their weapon, so around 18-ish (Material years)
Doveaceans do not migrate anymore, but they used to. The reason they can speak all the languages in the Feywild is due to the fact that they used to travel through all the Realms for migration. This is also why all Realms allow them entrance.
There are specific areas that are Doveacean-heavy in the Feywild, like their villages, but they do not stay in one place solely because they have access to all of the Realms within Feywild.
If a trade is uneven, they barter. If the trade does not become equal, the Doveacean rejects it, and the other person is seen as being in poor standing with the Doveacean.
The items Doveaceans generate stick around (unless edible, and then they get eaten and digested, as per usual). They can't generate anything too big, expensive, or rare.
Doveaceans play a wide range of instruments, adopting instruments over time. A modern Doveacean may play a synthesizer or electric bass, but a modern Doveacean can also play the harp, lyre, or any traditional instrument as well.
Doveaceans also dance. Their wings are used almost like a display/prop, so they have dances that incorporate their wings as elements.
Doveaceans are omnivores; they eat anything!
If not in nudist communes, Doveaceans typically wear things that emphasize their wings, wherever they may be.
Since Doveaceans are polyamorous, they all typically wear the waist beads of the families they are a part of.
Most families also share a secondary accessory for their biological family, specifically.
Doveaceans are amicable and view other races as friendly, they are just more private and secretive by nature due to the wing stereotypes and the fact that they are sought after by many for their skills and often exploited by others.
Wings do not change much as one grows
Wings show your direct biological family.
The transformation between standard form and the more animalistic form happens once a Doveacean lands in the Feywild! They get sharper claws, their hair gets curlier/more dense, their face becomes more snout-like, their horns larger, teeth sharper, and there is a personality change as well, as noted.
Wing placement was more of a historical thing. Doveaceans are moving away from such now since they have become mostly messengers, guides, etc.
The Doveacean language, Doveaceanian, is made up of chirping sounds
Wing movement is involuntary and reflects emotions
Naming conventions are as follows for Doveacean Feywild names: something related to your wing type + different endings. Different endings are -iea (daughters), -io (sons), -iearia (moms), -ierion (dads). Slight modifications are made when there is more than one son/daughter, such as -iean and -ion, or -ieas and -ios.
Doveacean villages are neutral ground, allowing for The Courts to meet within them.
Doveaceans do not try to hide their race. They can't, really. Any creature with wings and a satyr lower half, hooves, horns, claws, and horizontal pupils is a Doveacean.
Most Doveacean weapons are embedded with a specific type of stone, indicating their purpose.
Material Realm Doveaceans did not have to serve in the Seven Season War, as their primary address is in the Material Realm (this is true for all Material Realm dwellers; if your primary address is in the Material Realm, you essentially avoided being drafted)
Material Realm Doveacean Communes were established to avoid being forced to fight in wars.
