Modeled after a Phanaeus Demon (scarab beetle with a rhino horn)
Fully black skin
Dark blue-green hair. Hime cut. Hair is straight. She has bangs. Her hair falls a bit past her shoulders.
Oil slick eyes. No visible pupil, all one color. Bug eyes (mesh look)
Large black curved rhino horn, looks metallic
Small black antenna
Ears are long and pointed downward. They are black, like her skin, but have an ombre to teal.
Has mandibles coming off of her cheeks in a teal to green ombre. They are metallic
Has splotches of teal across her body, over her eyes, on her shoulders, her hips, down her spine; the splotches are metallic.

Brown-tinted scarab wings
She has a bug lower half. Legs have an exoskeleton and end in points with claws coming off of them.
Has an exoskeleton everywhere but her stomach, pelvis, and groin area.
All of her exoskeleton is metallic-looking.

Wears a loose black poncho top with tassels at the ends. The poncho is embroidered with multicolored bugs.

When fighting, she uses what looks like a rapier made of a stinger. It is poisoned. She won the stinger in a fight, taking it from her opponent

Super sweet and kind. Very bubbly personality. Playful and giggly. Mischievous. Outspoken. Is not afraid to tell someone off when they are doing something stupid or being rude.

Hovers and flies using her wings. When hovering, she may look as if she is lying on her back or belly, relaxed, while remaining suspended at someone's eye level.

Sells her own poisons at her shop
She is renowned for her poison-making abilities, people from all over the Feywild seeking her out for her skills. She will even explain her poisons to you! The secret is not what the poisons are made with, rather, the fact that Yrel just... understands how things fit together in certain ways, she understands what a potion or poison needs, she can "read them" in a sense, she has a skilled hand (or hands)
She is decent at healing.
Not ashamed of being trans, she just is. It is not a big deal in the Feywild; being LGBTQ+ is super normal there.
Asks a lot of questions, very curious
Yrel lives underground, beneath a tree. The tree above her house is decorated with shiny things (windchimes, garland), wrapped around the trunk and hanging from branches. Her home beneath the tree is a mash of color and full of trinkets.
Yrel's shop and home are in the Spring domains, but they are separate. Yrel's shop is in one of the villages proper, and Yrel's home is beneath a tree in one of the meadows in the Spring domains.
Yrel and Cupiea met early in the war. Cupiea/Mese/Anthe were in the Spring domains and had a day or two of no work, and Cupiea was exploring the lands and found a beautiful meadow, sitting down near a tree at the edge of it, which happened to be near the entrance to Yrel's house. Yrel and Cupiea got to talking and just became friends, and throughout the war, Yrel and Cupiea kept in contact and met when possible.
Yrel despises Gene and Ida with a passion. She is one of the few people whoknows about what they did to Cupiea. The trial happened after the war, Yrel, Anthe, Mese, Fenna, Seven Lock, and Cupio all in attendance as support for Cupiea. Yrel goes to the Hollow Forest to dump leftover poison onto Gene's and Ida's trees.

Yrel does her own share of poisoning for the greater good
Changelings sometimes struggle with holding their forms, and so Yrel makes stabilizer bracelets that she gives away, free of charge, to help with that. The bracelets are made using Knight's blood, which Yrel got a lot of as many Knights came with their Seconds when injured during the war. As repayment for healing, Yrel was allowed to keep blood-soaked rags and use them in her crafts. Many Knights still come by to donate blood. Yrel has a special knife that is charmed such that it takes only the specified amount of blood, the incision doesn't hurt, the incision self-heals once the blood is collected, and the incision site doesn't scar. The bracelets should help Changelings maintain their forms.
Likes to play with bugs/animals with Cupiea. Can communicate with beetles
