This makes me wonder if Kelly had any control over her actions in the original cheating problem.
...is this vore?
So, while taking a deserved work break from my psych paper, I caught up with The Orville...that was an oddly enjoyably tense episode. I’m super happy they they didn’t stick to hetero relationships with the whole pheromone thing, though I am curious if the pheromone “overrides” a person’s preferences, or just acts on what’s already there in some fashion. Arguably everyone had their focus on who they ended up banging, though they were all anger/annoyance based.
It’d be nice to have more clarification, because the show just implied heavily that Captain Mercer is maybe bi or pan or such, at least under influence, even if he didn’t consciously realize it. It was kind of odd that Malloy didn’t know, which could mean the pheromone changed his preferences, or that Mercer never considered it/didn’t consciously know. I hope they don’t brush it off and explore that later on because it’s a great opportunity for them.
