Occasionally I like to do things that aren’t Trolls, but are Troll adjacent. This is one of my favorites that I’ve done in a long long time.

I haven’t revealed the troll he goes with yet, but in kind of a fun spin, I imagine him being passed down along the same lineage of trolls, taking care of them, waiting a couple centuries, and taking care of the next, thus making him very very old.

I found my old flash drive of Homestuck related stuff I did and decided to take a stab at redoing one of the old characters on there named Damora. The file was a mix of bits and parts, and while blood color wasn’t consistent (in some versions she was bronze, in others gold), but she always had that wild hair, a wifebeater, a blacksmith’s apron, and some sort of heavy-duty footwear (typically boots). I decided to revamp the design, opting for a jadeblood (since I hadn’t made a jadeblood in a while), went with Virittarius, did some quick and dirty edits, and gave her modified versions of Tavrisprite’s horns. 

Using Hiveswap poses to make bases for fantrolls is one of my new favorite things. I did some heavy modification of a Remele pose for my gf’s fantroll, Serena, and it turned out really good I think. Plenty of improvements to be made of course, one of the fronds are a bit too thin towards the end, and some more detail work couldn’t hurt. The hardest part to figure out was that backward reaching arm though, holy hell. It’s still not perfect but it does the job.

Some sprites of my fantrolls. Some of them might be familiar if you’ve seen old art, but not all of them are named. The bronze blood I’m still debating on, but maybe Aethas? The high bloods are pretty well spoken for: Serena, Kaidra, and Carric.

The limey is a band geek version of CALLIE OHPEEE, which I thought would be fun. I really want to do a fan series comic if I can find the time. With the way things are looking I just might.
