No, that project has been shelved. I was working on adapting CTTK into an original work with my former writing partner/romantic partner, however our relationship ended badly. I don't foresee a reconciliation in our future, and I would not feel comfortable resuming a writing partnership even if one becomes possible.

But basically I like. Regularly reread cttk (it means a lot 2 me lol) and like, two weeks ago, I was reading this chapter and it's mentioned that Connor is listening to evanescence so I was like. Hmmm. That's a cool name :) I should look up that song :) and basically I got emofied so so SO hard. As in I checked my Spotify stats and evanescence is now my top third artist... as in of... All time.... You've given me an issue but also I thank you for indirectly emo-fying me sjsnsn!!! I thought this was funny and wanted to share it :))

Oh friend I am always happy to get asks about CTTK! I know I don't write with Rose anymore, but that story is still very deeply a part of my heart. Also I wrote Connor, Zoe, and Larry!

I am so deeply DEEPLY honored to have been your introduction to Evanescence. As you have likely gleaned from the everything about me, I am a bit of a Fandom Old. Which means that in 2003 when Evanescence's debut album Fallen came out I was about to enter the 7th grade and was the angstiest lil blond child with a soprano voice in the whole state of Wisconsin. My best friend at the time heard the song on MTV or VH1 when they played music videos in the middle of the night and introduced me.

I fell deeply in love. I got the album as a Christmas gift and played it so many times my CD grew scratched skippy. I can still sing all of the songs on that album, from memory, nearly 20 years later. It also sent me on a collision course with goth and punk music and basically changed my life no big.

Whenever Tommy says some Dumb Shit, she just stares at him and lets out this long disappointed sigh and ends it with his name.

Ivy doesn't like going shopping by herself, but she does kinda have a similar style to Connor (She gets The Emo Cut later on into senior year. I think u know what I'm talking ab) so he brings her to his favorite stores!

If you want her to trust you, give her food. Crackers. Candy (this in particular. My girl is a sweet tooth.), dinners, anything. She may run away from vulnerability because she's terrified of being seen for who she is but she will Not run away from food. She gets hangry rlly often.

Ivy tends to get into arguments. It's a problem. Like a really big problem. But her getting annoyed with Tommy is so... Funny, because he NEVER reads that she's pissed at him. He's an idiot, and that makes it so hard to be mad at him. She tries to hold out and be angry at him, but he's so fucking oblivious that she just gives up.

Her fav colors are purple and black.

No idea if any of these bands were around in the early 2000s but ssshhhh im too lazy 2 look it up. So. Yah. They probably aren't but let's just pretend they were! She's into Bôa, Bikini Kill, Slowdive, stuff like that. And when she gets older, Mitski! (What trans person that was a teen in the 2000s DOESN'T like mitski, honestly. I think it's like a collective thing apparently)

Personally i want it to be seen that you give reparations for how much this hurt me. Might as well just tear my heart in half. How dare you write this down and think its okay. Jürgen is a lovely guy. He grew up in the Netherlands and met Tommy when Tommy had a little too much fun in a nightclub in Amsterdam (and was generally just a bit too drunk to be all on his own). Jürgen scooped him up, took him home, made him some tea and gave him some snacks. Tommy at first is mostly just happy Jürgen speaks English, because Dutch Is Confusing.

Jürgen is (unsurprisingly) very into soccer/football. He's a nightclub promotor, but is equally happy to just chill out at home in sweatpants. He does not care for Madison because she's unpleasant to be around and makes Tommy unhappy.

Jürgen enjoys EDM, stealing Tommy's clothes because he likes how they smell, and his favorite animal is a seal. He thinks Tommy's American accent is cute, loves traveling, and prefers to be the big spoon.

Second off: Tommy Whittington headcanons! Again! I know! I have a problem /j

1. When he and Connor become friends Connor teaches him how to headbang properly, and Tommy decides that he REALLY likes this so now Connor has Started A Thing and he is doing a shaky head thing REALLY hard all the time. He gets headaches. Pray for him

2. When he sits with his legs straight out it looks like his knees r smiling. No I will not elaborate.

3. His very specific love language is picking out shells and shit from the beach and bringing it to his friends as a gift! He has a little collection that he keeps stuffed somewhere of cool shells and rocks he found that he doesn't have anyone to share with. Tommy does not know ANYTHING about shells other than "oh shit,,, shiny sea rock!?!??!?" and that's it those are all his thoughts right there.

4. He was born with curly/wavy(is that the word idk) hair but he's had to straighten it, so it's really damaged.

5. His room is where he lets himself just Be (because none of his "friends" go in there often and neither does Maddie( so he's very protective of it. CDs all over the place, his trashcan is filled to the top with homework and random paper. A lot of blankets. (Like ALOT) Tommy is growing up in a very cis and heteronormative society (as is any one), wasn't any amab person in the early 2000s severely touch starved oh my god. But he just. Really Longs to be held. (In general! Platonically too!) So he likes it when people hug him and hold his hands or when his fingers brush against the one's of the person he's giving it to. But he doesn't REALIZE that he needs hug and possibly forehead kiss until he starts being provided regular verbal affection by his new friends (in their own weird ways). And then he's like. Damn. This being accepted for who I am shit kinda fucks.

6. AWFUL at spots!!! God fucking awful at it!!!! My boy tried to throw a basketball into the catchy thingy once and it bounced right back and bonked his dumb ass right in the eye. Prob why he's so blind tbh

7. His friend (.....my oc....shhhh) that sleeps over a lot is terrified of the dark. He buys a nightlight.

8. Please give me. Any idea. As to what he would wear when he gets more comfy with himself. Pls. Because i literally CANNOT imagine his clothing taste.

Hmm I feel like once Tommy ditches the sort of Abercrombie and Bitch situation, he tends to dress more for comfort than anything else? Like he’s been squeezing himself into skintight polos and puka chokers for a bit. He needs to breathe. So I feel like he tends toward basics (jeans, hoodies, looser t-shirts) in high school. Once he graduates, I suspect he develops a slightly more Fashion aesthetic and incorporates button downs, chinos, loafers etc. Definitely has a “how do you dress gay?” kind of moment at some point which results in Connor having to tell him that emo attire is not some kind of required uniform.
