Is this 7 lines? No. It is close to 7 paragraphs, though and that's good enough for me. Also, this scene just feels wrong without all of it.
From Chapter 3 of In the In-Between:
"What happened? Are you okay?" Goh asks that night at dinner.
Ash hasn't talked about what happened between him and Zoroark. Not one to push, Goh wants to let his boyfriend come to him; but the worry still gnaws at him. He might trust Zoroark with his life, yet Goh knows that that feeling hasn't been mutual with Ash.
The trainer sighs. He sits at the dining room table and plays with his food — another sign that something weighs on his mind. Ash never turns down food. He does tonight, though.
"I'm sorry that I didn't trust you." Ash says.
It throws Goh off. He appreciates the apology, but it hadn't been the first thing on his mind. He wants to know that Ash is okay — the apologies can come later.
