Yesterday was a hectic day and the cherry on top was that I pulled a muscle during my taekwondo belt test. I had promised the littles that while hubby took kid 2 to A Christmas Carol rehearsals, I would take them to story time at the library with the Sugarplum Fairy from @evjenacademy production of The Nutcracker. The kids had a blast listening to her read The Nutcracker and practicing some ballet moves and I’m so glad that I limped my way to this event with her. Sometimes as parents, we have to push to find the energy to show up for our kids. I’m so glad that I did.
