Author's note: all these pieces are to be the events of a Christmas after rescue+their reunion, as best chronological order as I can get them, hopefully
Bound to Her- Placed during Part Four: Mending Ties
Eloise
As Rusty, no, Dustin gently pushes her into the room, all of Eloise's confusion slips away. She doesn't even mind that he closes the door behind her in this strange place. Because there, on the bed, facing away from her, is…
Her red hair is much shorter now, the ends choppy and uneven. No more revealing clothing. If anything, she wears the opposite, dressed in a big hoodie and sweatpants. But, oh… Eloise just needs to be sure. She needs to know this is really her bonded before she reacts. If the redhead could just face her, she-
"Dustin, you know I hate it when you hov-" the redhead stops speaking as she rolls over. And stares. Those big green eyes… even one marred by a big ragged red scar, they're still the most beautiful sight Eloise has ever seen.
Her vision blurs as tears well up in her own eyes. Eloise can't help but sob as her hands come up to cover her mouth, her knees finally giving way as the pain of her legs bring her crumbling to the floor.
She can hear her bonded, her bonded, scrambling as she gets off the bed, coming to kneel on the floor beside Eloise. A soft hand on her arm, another holding the side of her head.
"You're here." she hears from that voice, right beside her. Right here. Her bonded, her-
Through her hands, she croaks, "W-what do I call you now?"
Gentle fingers wipe her tears away, lift her head enough to see those eyes again, only one swimming with tears as well, the other glassy. That sparkling soft smile. The one always there just for her.
"Layla. I'm Layla now."
Layla.
"Layla." she breathes. "Oh, it's beautiful, ma belle. Just like you. My Layla."
It occurs to her that her bonded may not like those claiming words. Words that own and take.
But Layla just smiles bigger, wider, happier. And…
She hugs her.
Eloise has never felt so warm and content as she does now, back in her bonded's arms, no eyes to watch them anymore.

~Disclaimer for all drabbles- none are considered 100% canon; the more recently made, the closer they are to canon, but these are mostly for fun for me to figure out the characters+plot!~
Author's note: I'm doing a dual sort of parallel scene experiment with these. The "before" parts are from before Anna is made Lilith's pet while she's their servant. The "after" parts are nearer to the end of the story, after Lilith has her own whumped/captive arc of the story.
Before- Anna
"Oh."
Anna stiffened. She knew that voice. That was-
"Lilith? Do you know this young woman?"
Anna's heart did flip-flops as Lilith Orsini laughed lightly.
"We met briefly. During the last party."
A brief meeting was one way to put it. Anna would have felt flustered if her soul wasn't trying to leave her body. Unfortunately, Serpico's hand on her shoulder kept her consciousness firmly in place.
She started slightly as her free arm was wrapped around by another.
"Do you mind if I take her off your hands for a little while, uncle? I'm sure you and Papa have plenty to talk about while us girls catch up. Don't worry, I'll be back in time for dinner."
Serpico's fingers dug into her shoulder so hard, she was so sure it'd be bruised later. Thsn he let her go with a light shove in Lilith's direction. "No problem." he said, his low voice slinking through and into Anna's ears. "Have fun."
Anna couldn't stop her body from shaking as she was led outside the room by Lilith and into the hall. The other woman was talking about... something. Her ears were roaring too loud for her to make any of the words out.
Ths mansion was a mess of halls and stairs. She couldn't make heads nor tails of it, so she just let Lilith lead her along. It's not as if she would try to run anyway.
To her confusion, Lilith ended their brisk walk into... a pottery studio? She was so caught off-guard, she couldn't help but look up and around. It was very neatly organized, if a bit odd in how the neatness came together in the room. Like... carefully arranged chaos? How... oddly endearing, somehow.
Hands took her shoulders, to which she tensed as Lilith turned her so they faced eye to eye. Before she could duck her head down, Lilith caught her chin, tiliting it up.
Anna's breath caught in her throat.
Instead of a sneer or a smirk, all she saw was concern.
"Are you okay?"
Something about the way she asked that question was so gentle, so kind, so... genuine, Anna burst into tears before she could form an answer.
Lilith hugged her close. "You're okay." she whispered, rubbing Anna's back. "You're okay now. I've got you."
---
After- Lilith
She wasn't sure how long she laid in bed. Days, at least. Enough for the ceilings to change. And the voices. Most of the voices. There were a few that seemed to stay the same.
One in particular was constant. Whenever she wasn't swimming in the dark, that voice was there to keep her from sinking back beneath the waves.
Soft hands tended to her body. Sometimes firmer ones. But none that bruised. None that pulled or pushed. Just kind hands that coaxed her to eat and cleaned her off when she woke crying in a cold sweat.
Pieces clicked together slowly.
That she was home. The place before must have been the hospital. She wondered how that happened.
The few same voices of before were familiar. Her mind slowly connected each to their owners. Deitra. Nicky. ...Anna?
Anna's voice she heard most. Felt her hands most. As Lilith's mind settled back into her body, she rarely heard the absense of Anna at her side.
One day, she opened her eye to soft lights in a dark room. Her room. She was in bed. It was... late afternoon, judging from the windows and mantle clock.
Warmth and weight beside her gained form in her foggy thoughts as her eye slowly caught up to what she was seeing. Who she was seeing.
"Anna?" she croaked.
Brown eyes met hers as Anna looked up from her book.
"Lilith?" She sounded so... scared? Concerned?
Lilith couldn't think of a reply really. Just sat there, looking at Anna, wondering if this was real and not just some strange dream.
Her limbs didn't seem to want to work well. But she managed to move her hand to take Anna's, to give her a small squeeze, as reassuring as she could, in case this was real.
"Oh, you're awake!" Tears filled Anna's eyes as she smiled. She smiled so big and warm, it made Lilith's own eye well up. "You're awake. You're back." she sobbed, hugging Lilith so tight, it hurt a little.
Back.
She was back.
Home.
Safe.
Lilith hugged Anna back as her friend cried enough for both of them.
