curiosity saved... the princess
Captain Hook rarely spent time in royal palaces. At one time, he had, but that was a past long erased. It didn’t matter anymore what used to be. Instead, Hook was more likely to kill a royal as to befriend one. But rumors of this evil queen had traveled through the land, and when he was caught (something he might have intended to happen), he let the guards lead him in, a smirk on his face.
He’d made her offer, and she had been generous enough to allow him space as she came to a decision. A decision that would either work in his favor--or end up with his heart pulled out and crushed. It was a risk Hook was willing to take.
That was, until he learned of something even greater, even more intriguing, than the evil queen herself.
“Make sure the princess is secure,” Hook overheard from Snow one day, as he stood just outside the main hall where was sure there was some sort of meeting taking place. “I don’t want her trying to interfere.”
There had been rumors of a princess, but Hook was sure they were just that, rumors. The queen speaking of her like she really existed, well... Hook had always been curious, even as a boy. This was no different, so upon hearing that, he snuck out of the castle, plotting his way to the cell where legend (or rumor) had this princess stored away. Now if only there was no magic that prevented him from finding her....
