The Pax Romana UN Advocacy Team would like to hear from you once again!  In preparation for our interventions and lobbying at the UN during the CSocD, we would like inputs from members in the area of social development.  The theme of the 2014 CSocD is:

"Promoting empowerment of people in achieving poverty eradication, social integration and full employment and decent work for all"

The UN Team would like our intervention to revolve around the role of young people in sustainable development.  We also want to make sure that we specifically mention our involvement in the 2014 World Conference on Youth in Sri Lanka, as well as the importance of the World Programme of Action for Youth (WPAY) in terms of youth and development overall.  Finally, the Post-2015 Development Agenda must play a significant role in our policy points so please keep that in mind when formulating your inputs.  

Please make submissions here in light of the theme, as well as the concerns of the UN Team, so we can prepare our intervention.  The consultation process will end in the middle of November as we must abide by the submission requirements imposed by the UN.  Feel free to contact us if you have any questions!  Thank you!
