Is the universe flat?
This isn’t flat as in two dimensional, rather it is flat as in the two forces, attractive by gravity and repulsive by dark energy, are equal to one another. This had huge impact on the outcome of the universe. Scientists have mapped the night sky to determine how much matter there is in the universe and calculated it all up to determine the overall gravitational force. Next they calculated the force of expansion in the universe as it counteracts against gravity.
If gravity it stronger than the repulsive force than the universe is closing in on itself and will one day, theoretically, all the matter will collapse in it itself. Some believe this may cause the universe to spring back out in another “Big Bang”. If the repulsive force is stronger than gravity than the universe will expand infinitely. The universe will expand; the last stars will fizzle out and continue to be a cold lifeless place. However the scientists found that the universe is flat, the force of gravity is equal to the repulsive force, in this universe everything is more stable and the outcome of the universe is less apparent.
5 False Facts: #2. The moon only comes out at night
This myth if totally false as every cartoon you watched as a kid might have deceived you. Cartoon universes seem to live in a Geocentral universe, where the Sun, along with the moon, rotate around the Earth. This should be obvious to any of my followers that the moon rotates around the Earth dependant of the location of the sun.The moon will be in the sky as much as the sun will be.
Bonus False Fact about the moon. It does not have a dark side as the amazing Pink Floyd album "Dark Side of the Moon" might lead you to believe! The moon is tidally locked to the Earth, that means that when you look up into the sky you see the same side you saw as a kid. The sun illuminates all sides of the moon.

5 False Facts: #1. The Great Wall of China is the only man made object visible from outer space
Is the Great Wall the only man made object visible from outer space? No it is not. Not only that, it isn't actually visible at all from outer space. There are several reasons for that.
You may argue that it is visible because it is after all the "great" wall of China in terms of size but that only accounts for it's length. It is still a pathway after all,and if it was visible so would any major roadway, which obviously if you seen any space pictures is not.
Reason number two is that the wall easily blends in with the background of the scenery around it. Its hard to tell if you are looking at the wall or the land around it, even with a telescope from space because of the colour.
What you can see from space however is the mass of lights creating from bustling metropolises, like in the photo above, which, to me at least represent man made objects the most!
