I've been making my first proper custom character spriteset for rejuvenation and while it's been fun there's. so. much. holy shit. OW/run, backsprite, vs sprite, custom OW animations- and all of that for 7 characters (and outfits!) to boot. and looking through the sprites themselves there's so much effort put into each one of these. augh. thank you and the other spriters for suffering in the sprite mines, y'all are goated

How do you feel about the inclusion of speedup in rejuv? Do you think it's a time saving QoL feature or does it devalue the work that goes into making the game(very common opinion I see in fangame spaces)? Personally I'm a staunch speedup enjoyer but it's a very contentious topic amongst fangames and I wanted to hear your thoughts on it.

When it comes to drawing pokemon you've never drawn before, what's your approach like?

Not me watching the teaser and immediately sitting down to play it back on 0.25x speed to look for details because I'm SO normal about this game
