1. What was the last book you read?I just finished The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson!

2. Was it a good one?Yes, absolutely!

3. What made it good?Before I saw this question, I had already basically answered it above, so I had to copy and paste. Anyway… There’s something I really like about the way Maureen Johnson writes. (I mean, I don’t want to say we have a connection because we went to the same high school, but…) But, yes! It has everything I like. Lady friendships, ghosts, a little mystery, and Jack the Ripper!

4. Would you recommend it to other people?Definitely. Go out and buy it right now. Or get it from the library, whatever floats your boat.

7. What was the last bad book you read?Hm. That’s a good question. I actually had to go back and check through my Goodreads, since I’ve been reading a lot of things that were recommended to me lately, and the people recommending them know what I like, so… The last bad book I read was Jane and the Madness of Lord Byron. It’s part of some kind of Jane Austen mystery series, and it’s just… So. Bad.

8. What made you dislike it?I think the characterization was off. Not that I know who Jane Austen was, of course, so I can’t say if the book was actually true to her personality. But it was all a little campy, and not in the way I usually find fun. It was ridiculous trying to pass itself off as serious, unlike Soulless, which seems very aware of its own ridiculousness and plays with it to make it a fun read. The writing just didn’t appeal to me; I can’t remember any sentences specifically—it was over a year ago—but I remember texting my Jane Austen prof at the time with some of the particularly bad ones.

Musicals... Oh boy. I don't even know five, or at least know what they're about. I'll pass on that one. xP

1) If you could play a computer game based on a book (besides Nancy Drew), which book would you want to play in the world of?

This is the part where I sadly say I do not read often enough. At least for this question I can cheat and say The Hardy Boys! ;D

2) What fictional character would you want to raid the closet of?

Probably Kurt Hummel from Glee. I have clothes, but I need outfits..

3) If you pulled a Madonna and moved to a new city with only $35 in your pocket, where would you go first/what would you do?

Umm... extremely unlike me but okay. I guess I'd find a place to live and eat. Kind of important.

4) What is a habit you have that most people don’t have/wouldn’t even think of?

If I start singing a song, I have to finish whatever part I'm singing. I cannot stop mid-chorus, it drive me batty.

5) If your life were a film, who would you want to script it?

Me. Easy answer. Haven't you ever wanted to see a film about the life of a best-selling author and script writer?

6) What astrological sign do you identify with most (doesn’t have to be your sun sign)?

Definitely Aries.

Some sort of aquatic creature would be cool, I'd think. Or maybe a sea horse! Yesss...

8) Water slides or roller coasters?

I love roller coasters more, but I can only ride a few before I have to stop. Water slides I can ride over and over again all day. (Sadly, without my glasses I'm blind as a bat on both.)

9) Would you rather stay at a swanky hotel in a big city or in a tent in a scenic forest type area?

HOTEL ARE YOU KIDDING? I despise camping more and more every time I go.

Umm... I suppose Nancy Drew, Chrome, and good ol' Paint? Most of my childhood was spent on Paint.
