For anyone who lives in Omaha i really suggest going to Hot Shops Art Center. It's only open 2 times a year (this weekend being one of those times). It's one of the 2 things I look forward to for winter (along with Christmas). I myself am not generally one who enjoys art, but all the stuff they have there is spectacular and fascinating. You can even watch the artists make there pieces, whether it's a painter, a sketcher, a glass blower, someone who works with metal or wood, a jewelry maker or what have you, you can most likely watch them in action. It's one of the only things I actually like about this city.
