“Crypt of Tears Phrack Special” Part 3: Illuminated Intimacy /Kiss

While I like all 4 of these drawings, because they’re like my babies (the birthing process certainly took long enough), I think this one may be my favorite. The colors came out way better than I had anticipated and I love Phryne’s dress. Also I had to include a kiss somehow, right??

The dress, as well as the glass window are from promo/ behind the scenes pics.

Sidenote: I’m not sure what kind of setting this would be in?? It’s kind of random with Jack wearing the tux and all that but it’s something formal for sure. 😆

“Crypt of Tears Phrack Special” Part 2: Investigative Matters (for lack of a better title)

This wasn’t entirely what I had originally planned but I am pretty happy with the faces. I struggled a lot with the background however... did I put a random bush and walls in there because I wanted to avoid drawing as much of their bodies as possible? Maybe. I don’t even know if there are green bushes there, I didn’t see any on the behind the scenes pictures, which, as you may have noticed, is where the background buildings are from.

I just like seeing them work together...

“Crypt of Tears Phrack Special” Part 4: Moroccan Sunrise

I gave myself the shortest amount of time for drawing this one, hence the lack of detail in the background but whatever, it turned out alright I think.

Jack looks stupidly happy which I am very okay with 😂 and I like where Phryne’s hands ended up, after having tried several awkward arm arrangements.

The inspiration for Phryne’s kaftan was a picture I found online and I really liked it. I also like Phryne in red so I didn’t even have to change the color of the original kaftan... and Jack’s outfit is straight off of the promo pic.

Some domesticity....

Someone suggested I use the movie promo pics for inspiration and I thought “what a great idea!”. So the clothes are straight off of the promo pic. :)

I couldn’t think of a title/ caption so I’ll leave their thoughts or dialogue here up to your imagination. ;)
