Hi! Since people in here seem to like podcast I just wanted to share a few podcasts I listened to (less popular than Welcome to Nightvale or The Magnus Archive or The Penumbra Podcast, amazing podcasts nonetheless) which deserve more love.

Stella Firma: A Rusty Quill production like TMA but totally opposite energy. It's a semi improvised sci fi comedy about Trexel Geistman, a totally incompetent planet designer (you read it right) and David Seven, his too-clever-for-his-own-good clone assistant in a omnipresent corporation (Hail the Board!) Tim and Ben Meredith do a fantastic job together and you can be sure it will escaladate into hilarious unexpected absurdities every time! Trust me you won't regret it.

(2 seasons of 25 episodes, a 3rd season is scheduled I think, plus there's a ton of bonus content)

Mission Rejected: "The story of the world's most secret agents... the back ups" When the best secret agent decide to take a vacation the agency has to call the last agents available and it doesn't go as planned. It's Mission Impossible with a funny twist of plot and characters: you'll find some good comedy takes on the classic secret agent team and the actors really bring them to life. Each mission is more thrilling and more absurd and soon it all starts to come together in one global plot. This genre isn't really frequent in podcast but it is good to have something a bit different to listen to, go check it out!

Civilized: More comedy and more sci fi! Meet Beatrix, Bob and Barty (actually he prefers Bartholomew) three explorers sent to terraform a planet before humanity arrive. The characters are adorable, like Stella Firma there is a bit of improvisation and it shows: they sound so lively (even the AI)! The show has a way to make their relationship and personality evolve so you never get bored. The adventures are both funny and thrilling with twists and turns you wouldn't expect. If you only listen to one podcast of this list, please listen to Civilized! Trigger warning for drowning in episodes 203 and 204, that's all I can think about.

Death by Dying: it is as good as its title: the obituary writer of Crestfall, Idaho end up solving crimes as he looks too far into the local deaths. He get the help of his friend, Charlotte and the Angel of Death. It has a kinda WTNV spirit with the obituary writer giving the most terrible, ominous or funniest line with the calmest voice. It's really entertaining to see the character end up in the most dangerous situation without meaning to, just out of curiosity. Oh! and there's a goat named Chester, you don't want to miss that. Trigger warning for death (obviously), murder, gun shot.

Crypto Z: In a future where a 6th global extinction has occured we follow Jane Silver and Felix Bright, two cryptozoologists with divergent motives and goals, on a mission to find a mysterious creature in the Alps: the Icemen. The writing is stunning, and the sound design is so immersive you feel like you are with them in the blizzard! There's only 5 episodes so far and I can't wait to hear what happen next!

Quietly yours: This one is full of horror podcast short stories with some brilliant terrifying twists. The first episode had me standing on the tip of my chair till the end and I have been stuck since! (They have a tumblr @quietlypodcast but it's not very active yet). Trigger warning for murder (most episodes), for more TW, the title and sum up on spotify is a good telling of what is in each episodes if you have triggers, and each episode has a vastly different setting and character so you can skip an episode without missing anything.

Caravan: Do you love demons? Vampires? Benchies? Because this one has a bunch of them! When Samir fell into the canyon he didn't expect it to be the realm of those terrible fantastical creatures. Now he is part of a Caravan with Argos and Dakota, two creature hunters, as they try to escape the canyon. I love Samir's sassy comments and the others lack of understanding of his humor. He is a great narrator with really well written and vivid descriptions! This show is advertised as adult content with warning for graphic depiction of violence, sexual consent, mental health issue, fithly language.
